right, so, international trek fans are pissed at the discovery thing b/c well, it was the most dickish media move i’ve seen in years, frankly. And in general fans of disco are pissed because they know it will tank show ratings b/c people aren’t gonna wait to watch the show till paramount launches where they live (and the number of countries that it’s supposed to launch in in 2022 is about a quarter of that it was available to on netflix anyway) and will pirate it, or just won’t be able to watch it legally for years even if they Don’t so therefore Still no ratings. And that that will tank the show because expecting an exec to connect the ‘we stopped millions of ppl watching this and that’s why the ratings went down’ dots is not to be taken for granted.

I’m just remembering the whole “endogenic systems are just confused maladaptive daydreamers” argument and, I don’t know, if that was what they were first exposed to? (I didn’t exactly have a say in the matter, I would’ve just gone with it.) I could still be in that shitty unreal "just a character" state. If the system still did what it just did and replaced me for Thomas as co-fronter, then that’d be my dumb PTSD shit on top of just trying to figure out our multiplicity at all (assuming we figured it out at all and it wasn’t just the way that Ace talked about us beforehand, “Wow I’m so crazy” and all that.)
