Just a little sneak peek into the cosplay I’ve been working on, with a video coming soon on the process of the shawl portion.
Other points of interest in this cosplay:
The underdress is 100% linen and hand sewn
The blue over jumper dress is 100% linen and hand sewn
The gloves are made of a superwash wool sock yarn that I hand knit
The shawl is made of Merino (wool) and Merino/Silk blend (Ashford brand) that I hand spun, and hand knit, and hand decorated (the reveal of the back will be in the video once I finish making it)
The nail polish is Holo Taco, Wireless Mode light multichrome, and Frost Light holographic glitter.
This is my Aes Sedai cosplay, based on the magic users from the Wheel of Time series of books by Robert Jordan, for reference.

This is the White Flame of Tar Valon that is located on Aes Sedai shawls in the books, and the shawls themselves will hopefully be featured at some point on the TV series. As the weather gets colder up here in the northern hemisphere, and while season 2 is in the works, for those of you who are of the fiber and yarn community, you may be interested in this challenge.
