ROM #50 (1984)
by Mike Zeck
In some universes the Transformers have been known to coexist with G.I. Joe, the Micronauts, and Rom the Space Knight, while a different version of Rom and the Micronauts exist on "Earth-616", a world very similar to what we know from the Marvel Transformers comics. Did the Transformers or G.I. Joes of the Marvel Transformers universe ever encounter a native version of Rom or the Micronauts?
Dear True Believer,
In some universes, yes. The Transformers of Earth-91274, for instance, did in fact meet both the Spaceknight Rom and Arcturus Rann’s Micronauts during a conflict known as the "Wraith War." Shortly after the Autobots and Decepticons began their conflict on Earth, Rom’s own war with the dreaded Dire Wraiths was made public, thanks to his own existing alliance with entities like S.H.I.E.L.D. and G.I. Joe. In order to help turn the tide in the Wraith War, the Dire Wraiths allied themselves with the Decepticons. The Wraith-Decepticon alliance also used their presence to turn Rom on the Autobots, as Rom had no knowledge of their distinct factions. Thankfully, the Autobots’ human ally Buster Witwicky was able to resolve the misunderstanding, and take on their mutual foes. Rom was glad to have these new allies, as many of the superheroes he had encountered had mysteriously vanished. The Autobots were later present for the final battle of the Wraith War, during which several of their rank briefly met and interacted with members of the Micronauts, who had themselves encountered Rom previously during their own conflict with the evil Baron Karza.
Fantasy map progress!✨
The Fifth Legion of Erathon at the time of the Wraith War⚔️ Several OCs from a fantasy setting I'm creating inspired by the antiquity (iron and bronze age) throughout the world. I felt a generic European medieval fantasy was a bit stale and wanted something different.

Exploring Erathon - Part 1 The fashion and armour of Erathon, a culture from my fantasy setting. This is the first in a series exploring clothing and character design, and a good way to start 2026!
