I finished polishing a very short (roughly 1k words) short story that I wrote after being inspired by an online writing that I'm in. I'm trying to think of the best format to release it in, online and for free.
Best format for releasing a free short story online?

Itch.io
Another option (please share!)
(I'm personally leaning towards Itch.io, but I've never posted anything on there myself, and I'm pretty unfamiliar with setting up things on there. Plus, I know they went downhill recently in regards to increased censorship laws. There's nothing graphic in my story at all, but at this point, you never know)
WIP Poll Game
Thank you @sixpennydame for the tag!
rules: make a poll listing the titles of every wip you want to work on (it’s fine if you only have one, still make a poll for the vote count) and whichever WIP title gets the most votes, write 1 sentence/draw for 1 hour for every vote it received; and then tag some people!
**I'm going to do 1 minute for every vote instead of one sentence, because I think that'll work better for me. 😅
Which WIP should I work on next?

Why are you writing the story you’re currently writing?
It’s the story I want to read
For catharsis - it’s inspired by a life experience
To spend time with my character(s)
For the amazing plot I came up with
To share a message I really care about
To live vicariously through my character(s)
I don’t know yet… I just feel compelled to write it
