Ok I am working on a Royal AU that may never see the light of day who knows. It's going to be a slow burn. Steve Rogers x Reader where Steve is like instantly in love with reader but it takes her way longer to warm up and trust.
There's a lot of characters and a lot of moving parts but the thing I need help deciding on is this....
Is Steve King? (Which means dead dad) Or is he a Prince? (Meaning both parents can help him with his martial problems) Also for note in this Steve's dad and Sarah would have a really healthy and happy marriage. Whether he is dead or alive that's just the vibe I'm getting from them.

I have so many WIPs I want to work on but the only thing my brain wants to write rn is the first meeting/early Act 1 stuff with Jamie and Astarion. I picture their story going a bit differently than the game events (sticking with the overall timeline, but Jamie 100% knows he's a vampire upon meeting, for example)
I feel like it's too late to come out with a game-compliant first meeting fic... and ALSO I have other WIPs!!
At the same time I realize it's fanfic and I can do whatever I want forever and it's not "too late" for any specific story. I'm just annoyed that what I want to write and what my brain wants to write are Not The Same
