Thoughts on sizzie?? Any headcannons??
So first off, thanks for asking this question! I really love Sizzie as a ship. It has so much potential, and I’m excited to see where the show goes with it.
My thoughts: I liked how they introduced Sebastian as mysterious and potentially dangerous, but Lizzie ignored all the warning signs because she was into him. Their date was so sweet, even if it was the bait to get Lizzie to agree to help him. And then we learned that Lizzie should’ve listened to those warnings because Sebastian is a cold-blooded killer and a master manipulator who manages to get his body restored without hers or MG’s help. This guy is resourceful, which makes me like him even more. Then of course we got his tragic backstory that had me crying, and he sounds genuine when he begs MG to give Lizzie the token so she will be saved. Now he’s helped them, but Lizzie doesn’t want anything to do with him because he made her think she was hallucinating him (not on purpose, but still). So they have shifted from “love at first sight” to “enemies to lovers,” and I am here for it. The dynamics of this relationship have changed a lot from the beginning. I personally find that kind of development very interesting, and I’m curious to see how Sebastian tries to win Lizzie’s trust back.
Sebastian gives Lizzie some space for a little while because he knows she needs some time to cool down.
But the moment Lizzie puts herself in danger again, Sebastian will show up to try to help. Lizzie will of course refuse said help, but end up having to form a tentative alliance with him.
Sebastian is still a gentleman and polite and respectful towards Lizzie. He would always make sure to wash away all blood on his lips before seeing her (unless they were fighting against monsters together).
Sebastian still can’t get used to the sounds phones make. Lizzie gets him one of those prepaid phones, so she can reach him in case of emergencies. She helps him change the ringtone to a pleasing orchestral melody.
Lizzie secretly reads historical romance novels that take place in Sebastian’s time so she can try to understand him better. So far the research is inconsistent to say the least.
Sebastian spends a week trying to convince Lizzie his last name is Darcy after he finds out she’s a Jane Austen fan. He is unsuccessful, though Lizzie thought it was kind of cute.
Sebastian reads all of the Lord of the Rings books just to understand Lizzie’s “Hobbit” insults. When he tells her about it, excited to discuss the characters with her, she admits she hasn’t actually read the books, only seen the movies. (He is disappointed, but luckily he finds some Tolkien fans at Mystic Falls High. He discusses it with them at length, and then uses compulsion so they don’t remember him.)
Sebastian’s favorite place is the lake. He loves that he can now enjoy it with Lizzie without trying to manipulate her into giving him blood. They have a redo of their date, which results in Lizzie playfully pushing him into the water and Sebastian dragging her in with him. They kiss underwater.
