The day before
The day before,
I was cold, empty and confused,
I was laughing with you all,
Yet I felt like I wasn't me anymore.
Then a game and some gesture
I know the best thing that's ever happened to me, is you.
In the morning, I felt void
I did some work and I smiled, a lot.
As the sun went down and down,
And the darkness took over,
I knew by the sunset
if I couldn't find a moon, I'll have you.
Just a hint that you're not feeling great
And it doesn't take longer than a moment,
For me to forget,
My own dilemmas, sadness or stress,
That moment, there is hardly anything
That I won't do to make you relax.
Everything that I can do,
I'll do for you to smile again,
To make you as happy,
As you were the day before yesterday.
