Have you ever been so excited to post your next chapter that you keep giddily working on it instead of doing everything you should be doing? And just as excited about posting the chapter after that one, so you just keep switching between the two documents giddily typing like a foolish little gremlin?
something i find really charming about people who paste memorable bits of my fic into their bookmark note is that half the time its a piece of the story i wouldn't think was all that remarkable or even that good. just goes to show how different things stick with different people and i love the little kick of confidence those things give me ❤
Writing a book is one of the most fun yet stressful things. Like omg I can't believe I created these little fun characters and this cute world they all live in!! Let me join them on their little adventures!!

I recently passed having written 10K words since the beginning of July, which I am taking as a massive achievement considering I wasn’t sure I’d write anything.
Chapter 9 has a beginning and a direction that I’m now a bit happier with. I also believe I have a plan for the rest of the story. We shall see where the writing gods take me!!
I know my first SCP fic was really dark and serious, and the sequel is turning out to be pretty emotional as well, but I’m still being a clown here and there :)
