An assassin and former mercenary; Zoe was trained in the Skytan mountains to be a master in martial arts. She's known as the White Fox by most, and is characterized by her fox mask, white hair and the fact that all of her victims are men. Little is known of her past or how she ended up Nadita.

Character Intro; Reign and Storm

Alexei Orestev • he/ him • 24 • questionably straight

The more relevant, as he would say, of the twin princes of Noracco. Alexei recruited Jenny to be his spy, and the two became friends during her time in training due to their similar personality traits. Those of note being how incredibly loud and over confident they both are. Unlike Jenny, however, Alexei does not know how to think before he acts. Which has, and continues to, land him in trouble. A skilled warrior, Alexei now finds himself off of the battlefield and in the Vallecian court, at the hand of his once good friend.

𝕎𝕣𝕚𝕥𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕦𝕡𝕕𝕒𝕥𝕖; 𝟞/ 𝟚𝟠/ 𝟚𝟘

Soo I kind of took a mini hiatus, and I just want to clear a few things up about why I ✨disappeared.✨

A character analysis of myself that nobody asked for: I've come to figure out that almost everything I do is defined by my main three “needs” {or just, like things I do naturally.} Those being; my need to create characters, be a perfectionist, and procrastinate. And if you guessed that the last two conflict; you would be absolutely correct. An excellent example of said conflict would be my Tumblr hiatuses; in which I attempt to create content, put too much effort and time into making it perfect, procrastinate finishing it, then become overwhelmed by the need to create more content and loose passion in it.

Asks {mutuals pls read:} The above happens to me the most often with asks {sts, wbw, m&gm} so while I really appreciate the asks and love participating, I'd appreciate if anyone who wants to send an event related ask checks for some signs of life on my blog first {sending you an ask, responding to an ask, reblogging an “ask box open” post, ect.} {Thanks ahead of time and no, you don't need to apologise, lol.}

WIPS: Yes, that's with a plural, kind of. I still think about Zoe's backstory every night but honestly, nothing much has happened with Reign and Storm lately. As far as the “S” goes; yesterday, three or so ideas that have been floating around in my head decided that they wanted to combine forces and call themselves a wip... I can't say much about it since I'm not sure if I want to pursue the idea or not yet, but its codename is Reality TV Rapunzel... Yeah.

Writing update; Reign and Storm {4•26•20}

★MAJOR NAME CHANGE★

After much contemplation, I've decided to change Val's name from Val to Jenny from here on out. Val just conflicted with so many other things; Val is basically a shortened "Vallece"; it sounds ✨surprise✨surprise✨ Vallecian; and there's already, like, 10 other Vals on Tumblr. I'm going to keep all the content containing her old name the same, and just edit the tags from #character: val to #character: jenny and add a note saying that her name has changed.

REVAMPED CHARACTER INTROS

In light of ↑ and because I've been experimenting around with character Intro templates that aren't grainy, low quality gifs. I've decided to revamp my current character intros with a new template {that will also apply to future intros too, duh.} It's going to be lot more work to create the individual intros with the new template, but I'm excited!

BEAR IN MIND

I've come to accept that this Tumblr will be more of a "follow along with me as I develope ideas for my book" sort of blog, and not finalized, garanteed to make it into the book content. So expect more of these writing updates in the future~

Writeblr Intro; writing-in-rain

“Hola”

Hello writeblr, my name is Avery and this is my blog I guess. Where I direct my creativity goes in phases of reading» writing» drawing and this year I feel like writing, so I've created a writeblr because of said commitment issues. As of the time I'm writing this, I'm in the planning - brainstorming phase of creating my wip; Reign and Storm. Hence the username.

When I'm not writing, I'm either drawing, reading or browsing Pinterest mindlessly.

Whilst doing all of what's mentioned above, I'm listening to music. I mainly listen to k-pop girl-groups, but I also love quite a few non-korean artists.

My favorite books are currently: Everything in the Grishaverse, The Cruel Prince trilogy, PJO/ The Heroes of Olympus and Princess X.

Fashion, not much to say except skirts and dresses look better with sneakers.

“Reign and Storm”

A fantasy duology inspired by Indian and Italian culture and my personal experiences with religion, self discovery and betrayal among other things. Almost all of the characters are poc and/ or lgbt. You can search #reignandstorm under my blog to find more~

“Inspirations”

Leigh Bardugo {@lbardugo} ; After reading the Shadow and Bone trilogy, my mind was bursting with ideas for a fantasy novel, Six of Crows, King of Scars and The language of Thorns made that seedling of an idea even better. I absolutely love the diversity and bad-ass female characters in all of her books~

@inky-duchess ; I remember seeing her posts on Pinterest way before I really used tumblr, and of course, loving them. I swear she's a genius when it comes to historical accuracy and I find her knowledge beyond helpful.

@scribonaut ; A master of aesthetics. I aspire to be half as good as her at creating mood-boards and adore her world-building.

@anomaly00 ; I'm already in love with her characters, specifically Fenice and Lady Yorah, and her world-building is 👌 Also really nice.

Real world cultures. I find other cultures so interesting and worldbuilding may or may not be my favorite part of writing.
