Oc Ref Sheet #1
Heya, finally decided to try making my own Oc, so I hope this gives gives all the basic information at the moment. May be updated large on when I get a better handle on the character. Eventually I'll make art for her later down the road. Of course, I had some fun in this and if anyone's interested/curious don't hesitate to send any asks in
Okayokay. Let’s make the ref for Bubby.
- Unlike Dr Coomer who had a newer tank and tech, Bubby had one of the older ones. So he didn’t get a mask or a IV. He just had ports surgically embedded into him. One at the base of his neck, and one right above his tailbone.
- Hitting them can cause a fuckton of pain and usually immobilizes him immediately.
- Along the same line, having a ton of clones around the facility without and backups would be a horrible idea. And sadly, Black Mesa had backups. In the ports held remote controlled tasers.
- Luckily though, Dr Coomer and Tommy had removed those as soon as possible so he doesn’t have to deal with them, he still doesn’t like electricity or tazers however.
- No ones really sure how the hell he managed to get control over fire, but he did. And that makes him very.. hot headed *badumtiss* but more seriously, the more he uses it the easier it is to make him upset.
- It can fade, it just means he can’t use his powers for a bit.
- When he gets very upset or feels strong emotions, his powers flux and things around him burst into flames.
- To date, only one time had cause himself to burst into flames. (he was fine, just lightly singed and smoking)
- Doesn’t actually need glasses, he just wears them because he thinks they look cool. And totally not because Dr Coomer said they fit him.

Alright, I am forcing myself to do this, even though it's gonna take me like twice as long as it should because I'm an indecisive procrastinating piece of shit who can't decide what to do for certain aspects and decides to watch YouTube videos instead of actually working on something I wanna work on. Let's get this shit over with.
Dicey Camelia
Dicey is a bisexual female chameleon who happens to be part gecko, thus causing her hands and feet to be like a gecko’s instead of a chameleon’s,and the two outside toes on her feet bend back farther than they should as a result.
her eyes have the slit pupils of a gecko but she can move them independently which results in her taking advantage of that and ruining selfies with her friends by making a derpy face.
She has a very long prehensile tail that she usually keeps partially curled up with the curls in a downward spiral so it doesn't get in the way with a small ridge going down the middle that decreases in size closer to the end, she also has a tiny little horn on her nose that points up, as well as a small frill that somewhat resembles hair when relaxed.
She has the ability to change her skin color at will, creating very complex patterns or making a hypnotic spiral of colors, she can't change the color of her eyes though. Usually she goes for more simple patterns or her colors trace each other in streaks because complex patterns can give her a headache if she does them for too long because of how they require a small amount of concentration. Her colors also change depending on her emotions, with certain colors meaning certain emotions.
Another thing she can do is use her scales to turn invisible, doing this casts a small glamour over her cloths also turning them invisible as well, she uses this to her advantage at her job so she can sneak up behind people to see if they're cheating or not.
She prefers to wear T-shirts and leggings/yoga-top pants, though she may wear less casual clothing when she's at work, even though she spends most of her time invisible up on a lighting fixture looking down at everyone to try and spot cheaters.
Dicey actually has Heterochromia, her left eye is a light shining golden and her right eye is a nice lilac.
She's about 5′9″ and her tail itself measures at a full length of 5′ when it's uncurled, though when it is curled it's about 3′ long.
This is measured from the side as it includes the farthest part of the coil in it's length.
When she hasn't gotten enough sleep and really should just be allowed to take a nap her colors shift more towards being grayscale, the more tired she is the less saturated her colors become, and her camouflage becomes sloppier.
most of the time she settles for colors that go with what she's wearing if she decides to be a particular color or two, though usually she just lets her emotions flow over her scales, though when she's more neutral colors just sort of chase each other swirling in streaks, albeit a bit on the slower side, sorta giving her scales a bit of a kaliediscopic effect.
She has sensitive hearing and amazing eyesight, she actually managed to see Dicey slipping in aces as he shuffled a deck of cards one, and she casually mentioned it as she passed by, which eventually led to her current assignment at the casino, basically she sits on a light fixture while invisible and watches everybody to try and catch as many cheaters as she could, despite not even knowing any card games aside from BS and Go Fish
She actually has a bunch of different things she does for the casino, one day she might be looking for cheaters, the next she might be a waitress or a janitor.
Don't put her behind the bar unless you want her to show off how skilled she is.
She grew up in the circus that her parents worked in and one of the people taught her how to mix drinks and put on a show while doing it.
She can also slide a drink down the length of a bar to the exact place she wants it to go and not spill a drop of what's in the glass.
She can also do some acrobatics and juggle as well.
She lives in an apartment with two friends of hers that she met in Inkwell when she first moved there to get away from an old abusive stalker ex and they've been like sisters ever since.
Dicey is 24 years old, though she can sometimes be mistaken for a teenager.

11. Do they have any special diet requirements? Are they a vegetarian? Vegan? Have any allergies?
No, they don’t have allergies or special diets - they’re [retty healthy, though Kav does have issues eating whatever is in front of her. She’s a picky eater, always has been and probably will be in the future.
They’re not vegetarian or vegan; living a meat-based diet with Ace, Luffy and the others at Dadan’s. She did try to get them to eat more greens though, but Luffy didn’t like vegetables too much.
12. What is their favourite food?
Cake; god Kav loves cake and pastries - Ace would complain of how much she could pack away but again - Kav would scold Ace for eating so much meat.
Either way, they both eat it unhealthy amounts of whatever they favor the most
13. What is their least favourite food?
Spicy and sour things; her tongue can’t take some spices.
14. Do they have any specific memories of food/a restaurant/meal?
They’re adopted parents cafe, it was a quaint little shop with yummy cakes, coffee, tea and other little treats. Luffy and Ace both loved going their every day to mooch a free meal out of her.
Though she loved seeing them every day; after all they promised to see her every day after she was taken in by the couple.
At first, Ace had been upset with the situation - often believing that Kav would live with him for as long as they’ll live.
15. Are they good at cooking? Do they enjoy it? What do others think of their cooking?
Having parents’ that manage a shop; of course you would learn to cook, bake and make drinks for customers, herself and her parents.
They taught her how because she was expected to take over the shop when they eventually retired in their old age but... again, life does takes it turns and such.
Kav enjoys cooking for herself, Ace and Luffy and anyone else she currently finds interesting enough to accompany her. Luffy doesn’t care, so long as she cooks meat for him.
16. Do they collect anything? What do they do with it? Where do they keep it?
They don’t collect much of anything; it’s hard to have a hobby when you’re always bustling and moving - trying to keep up with her two boys’.

Kav is in love with herself; of course she appreciates getting her photos taken. Selfies? Yes!
She doesn’t keep them though, what’s the point of keeping memorabilia when there’s never a time to sit down and look back at them.

The love romantic movies; movies about sex, drama and anything that can excite her or the company she keeps at the moment. But really, she never wants to watch a movie because it always tends to end up with her making out or fucking whoever she’s with. Hha.

Nah; they like music though. They sing or hum along.

Kaowotso de Kavandria; in the OP AU I have - It was chosen for loads of reasons
Kavandria is derived from Kavan - which means handsome, beautiful, etc etc.

My name’s Kav, so my character (my self-insert piece of shit character tbh) had to have my name because a. I love it and b. I’m full of myself
Kaowotso is actually a word in my native language, it means king or royalty. The reason I choose this name because it sounds amazing and also because Kavandira in this OPverse is that - Royalty.
‘de’ is just another thing in my language which puts two words together.
3. Did they have a good childhood? What are fond memories they have of it? What’s a bad memory?
Kav had a wondrous childhood, in her opinion at the time - she was given lavish gifts, dresses and everything she could ever ask for and there was never any objections from outsiders or anyone. She got what she wanted and did as she pleased, with little to no repercussions of her action.
She was on top; she had power and control - she loved every moment of what an impact she made with her decisions.
Human were nothing but toys and the lives of the other World Nobles meant nothing to her unless they kissed her feet and they did so.
But finding herself in the cold world of the open world, freedom was too much of burden but...
She found herself with a young boy who had taken pity on her. Kav came to know of appreciation, gratefulness and what she believed to be happiness at the time.
Meeting Ace that day was both a lucky break and the most fondest memory she has had.
The worst memory she has had as a child isn’t her leaving Mariejois; it was a time she was so scared for the fate of Ace - after the incident in the Gray Terminal. She never realized how much she missed and enjoyed his company and hated to be without him.
4. What is their relationship with their parents? What’s a good and bad memory with them? Did they know both parents?
They never saw eye to eye; Kavandria was a spoiled child - not by her own parents but by just the majority of the residents of Mariejois; seen as a gifted child and a Goddess.
She was put on a pedestal; that she herself took to heart.
But her parents, Authoron and Veledia loved their only daughter - the’re last and only child they had (or could have, really).
They weren’t really the worst of parents, albeit neglectful at times but due to circumstances. Her mother was often weak or sick to take care of Kavandria herself and her father was much too busy with other matters to stay home with his small family.
Though leaving Mariejois, Kavandria found herself a couple who had taken to Kav - often calling her up to come see them if she had the time to. They adored Kavandria, and being unable to have children, they thought of her as their own.
In the end they had adopted Kav as their own child, eventually after finding out she hadn’t any parents.
Kav loved them dearly.
5. Do they have any siblings? What’s their names? What is their relationship with them? Has their relationship changed since they were kids to adults?
Kavandria does have a brother; there’s an 18 year difference between the though as Veledia had troubles conceiving.
Kavan, after his death (really he ran away, but he faked his own death. Him being dead is just what the World Government/Marines reported for simple reasons); Both Veledia and Authoron tried at having children - and Kavandria was born.
Again, Kavandria is just a name in memory of their first child.
They have never met; they don’t have much of a relationship until she comes in contact with Doflamingo.
Kavan, unlike Kavandria - always wanted a sibling; growing up alongside Doflamingo and Rocinante. He grown to see Doflamingo as somewhat of a brother or a best friend until the Donquixote left Mariejois with his family.
He does take care of his young sibling though, now that they’re together. Kavan is indebt to Doflamingo for helping him in coming with contact with his sibling.
6. What were they like at school? Did they enjoy it? Did they finish? What level of higher education did they reach? What subjects did they enjoy? Which did they hate?
They hadn’t gone to school; they were privately tutored by the best academics that the world could offer - if they couldn’t do their jobs, their names were slandered or worst, their lives taken.
So you would understand that they did their best in teaching youn Kav to whatever she wanted and more.
She’s pretty smart; having good memory and being text-book smart - she had a lot of understanding of math, languages, etc etc.
They greatly enjoyed social studies and anything revolving learning about the wor - though she never cared much about the human aspects of it, it never concerned her. They were playthings.
They absolutely abhorred math; but it had to be taught.
7. Did they have lots of friends as a child? Did they keep any of their childhood friends into adulthood?
No; they were a pretty solidarity being - not really by choice, but by birthright. Other children were denied playing with her due to various reasons - one of them being that they weren’t deemed holy or good enough to be in her presence.
They found some form of friendship, albeit a parasitic one with her slaves and servants.
She had a twisted way of showing her appreciation and gratitude; usually with a bullet through one’s head. She didn’t understand the emotions she was feeling and often thought it be arbitrary.
They left Mariejois though; find friendships and bonds with many in the kingdom of Goa - specifically Luffy, Ace and Sabo.
She remains siblings and friends with Luffy; though her relationship with Ace was more romantic and she loved him, still even after his death.
Kav’s oldest friendship would be with Luffy and it still holds strong, though they had their differences after the death of Ace - they still saw each other as siblings and friends.
8. Did they have pets as a child? Do they have pets as an adult? Do they like animals?
No, they never had a pet and continue to not have a pet as an adult - they were mostly seen as food, or the boys’ thought of animals is food and she went along with it.
They like them, yes - but don’t often feel that they want a pet.
10. Your character has discovered that they only have a week left to live. What do they do with that time?
Spend it with friends and family; all while having feasts and parties - she doesn’t want to think about it when the day comes when she departs. She would only like to leave a happy memory behind.
11. What was something they struggled with greatly and how did they overcome it?
There’s a few things she struggled with; her mortality and her own strengths.
After the lost of Sabo when they were young, she didn’t know how or what to do after knowing he had passed away but cry and thinking of happier times.
She didn’t think people could be this fragile.
Kav understood pain, physical, emotional and mentally soon after, realizing that she is in fact human, much like Ace and others’. She was very unsure of herself.
After the death of Ace, Kav struggled with herself - of losing her only dream and goal, she wanted to sail the seas with Ace for as long as they could and more.
But things never end like you hope.
She wasn’t strong enough and the New World and Doflamingo taught her that.
12. Your character has the opportunity to have one wish granted. Would the wish only benefit them, someone else (one person or multiple), or everyone? And what would that wish be?
A selfish request of bringing back her beloved, as what she would have done but... over time, Kav comes to know there are other problems in this world.
World Nobles and they’re influenced.
She would wish to have the ability or strength to change things in this world as much as she could.
13. Does your character have anyone that they really care about, to the point that they would give their life for them? If so, who are they and what is your character’s relation to them? If not, do they wish they did? Is there anyone they wish they could build such a relationship with?
She had the chance to; she didn’t take it though out of fear for her own mortality - healing things with her own temporal powers has a price. Her own life and energy.
It was for Ace; she had the choice to save him - she did, but things ended up the same.
She was weak.
They were the best of friends and lovers’, they had known each other since Kav found herself in the Goa Kingdom on the East Blue sea.
They often think about that time and giving their own life; anything to god= back and change things.
Kavandria believes she doesn’t think she could ever have such a relationship with another. Doflamingo though, he’s in a class on his own.
Nothing like Ace, but the relationship blossoms into something more.
14. Do they have someone that they consider to be a family member, even if they’re not related to your character by blood? What was one of your character’s favourite moments with them, and what makes them so special to them?
Monkey D. Luffy - they grew up with that boy, learning from him and a few others to be more humble and human.
They’re like brothers and sisters to each other.
Just spending days with them is always her favorite time or moment.
To Kav, Luffy has a special place in her heart - she never thought much for her parents - she couldn’t connect to another because she was put on a pedestal as a child. More Godlike, than her counterparts for her powers and miraculous birth.
Luffy always treated her so well; and she did vice versa.
15. Does your character have a deep and/or dark secret? If so, what is it?
She’s a World Noble; that in itself is a terrible secret, for her, at least.
16. What is their aspiration? Their goal? Their purpose? What makes them want to wake up everyday and keep on going?
As a child living in Mariejois; their aspirations was to see the world for themselves and learn about the world and humans.
Leaving and being with Luffy and Ace though; they’re aspirations and goals changed - they wanted to be in Ace’s life and have a family with them and spend their life at their side.
They didn’t think of much beyond that.
After the lost of Ace; she was despondent and without a way - drifting in life with no goal in mind.
Though she remembered her reason to continue on with life; being left no choice but to marry Doflamingo - she was still going to see it that she would achieve that goal.

They were treated more like a princess; a Goddess - seen to be above even their own World Nobles. Godly powers, Kav was given the ability and choice to call judgment on anyone that dare troubled her.
Kav wasn’t a good kid as I mentioned.
She was spoiled rotten and everything she asked for, she got.
Though her parents didn’t give her the attention she hoped for; her mother was often sickish or exhausted and her father? Well, he was much too busy in his own ordeals and hobbies.
She never had friends or anyone to rely on.
Until she left.
18. Does your character believe the ends justify the means? No matter who they have to step on to reach their goals?
God, Kav knows that some others’ have to suffer in the face of her goals - she’s learned this over time, if she allowed anyone to step on her then how would anything get done?
She might be awful but someone has to get their hands dirty to solve some problems.

73. If your character knew what they know now when they were younger would they do things in their life differently?
Yes, she would definitely use it to their advantage but… things don’t work out like that or how you would think.
84. What do they do if they have a really bad nightmare?
Wake up immediately and try their best to forget it; when she was with Ace he’d cuddle up with her and soothe her until she was better.
Alone, she somehow manages.
1. What’s one experience your character had that made them very afraid?
There is several; but the one thing that has made them afraid is losing Ace - not to just about anything and that is to fire.
During the burning of the Gray Terminal; Kav cried and cried her eyes out knowing she wasn’t going to see Ace ever again nor Sabo as well.
Since then, she’s been afraid of it.
But to learn he has the Mera Mera fruit, she was surprised and scared at first - she still is but she put her fears behind her for quite sme time until...
She had seen Akainu’s burning fist through Ace’s chest. She doesn’t like fire.
2. What is your character’s happiest memory?
All her times with both Ace and Luffy; her adventures with Ace when she finally met up with him again. She can never forget the joys’ of being young and reckless; and in love.
3. What’s one skill your character really wishes they had?
Kavandria has a few skills, powers and strengths about her that make her a tough fighter on it’s own. The ability to heal herself or those she wishes with her limited Temporal powers - she has gained from her mother.
Veledia, the birth/biological mother of Kavandria; had been both sick and weak during her pregnancy with Kav - the chances of the both of them making it were rather slim.
As a last resort; Veledia had eaten a devil fruit - without the knowledge of other World Nobles besides her husband and self.
She birthed a healthy baby girl; with both hair and eyes so pink - it was beautiful.
But yeah; she doesn’t have full use of it like her mother does. She only had little effects of the fruit though; giving her the ability to heal the area she touches by reversing the effects.
Anyways, she would definitely give all her abilities to bring back those she loves.
4. What is their favourite food? Their daily diet?
Their favorite food? Cake - but if it isn’t cake, she loves rice and some meat.
She’s a picky eater though, choosing how her food is cooked and the like.
Living with Ace, Luffy and the bandits - she’s learned to eat meat, mostly but growing up she has a more balanced diet with veggies, fruits and other produce.
5. Do they like music? If so, what kind of music do they enjoy?
Yes; they normally like music that allows to chill and relax - give them a time to think of things around them.
6. Do they collect anything/have a collection?
No, they don’t - besides dresses, especially after she marries Doflamingo.
7. Have they ever encountered someone they really wanted to kill?
Yes. It isn’t a pleasant feeling.
8. How do they deal with bullies and people who just won’t leave them alone?
As a kid; they didn’t know how to react - always being silent and taking on the abuse until either Sabo or Ace would intervene.
As an adult; don’t get her too angry unless you want to be under those heels of hers.
