If they ask you: Why are you sad?
Tell them truthfully and say to them:
I rarely make istighfar and I left reading Quran
Anything haram in Islam is haram for a reason. It destroys you, your peace, your physical and mental state. Depression hits you. Anxiety hits you. Allah has made them haram to protect you, your soul and your heart. Nothing and nobody in this life is worth displeasing Allah. What is yours will find you, just trust in Him and be patient.

Where is that atheist who says 'How do I worship a God I do not see?' Why hide in your home from a virus you cannot see?
Dua to protect against disease!
Anas ibn Mālik رضي الله عنه reported that the Prophet ﷺ used to supplicate: (O Allah! I seek refuge in You from leucoderma, insanity, leprosy and evil diseases)
Allahumma inni a’udhu bika minal-barasi, wal- jununi, wal-judhami, wa sayyi’il-asqaam
[Sunan Abi Dawud, Hadith: 1549 and Sahih Ibn Hibban; Al Ihsan, Hadith: 1017]

It is He who sent down tranquillity into the hearts of the believers that they would increase in faith along with their [present] faith. And to Allah belong the soldiers of the heavens and the earth, and ever is Allah Knowing and Wise.
~ Quran 48:4
✒ Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said:
Whoever recites لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل قدير (La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay in qadir) one hundred times in the day will receive the reward of freeing 10 slaves, one hundred rewards will be written for him and one hundred sins wiped away, and he will be protected from Shaytan for the remainder of the day.
📚 Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 3293 and Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 2691.
✒ Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه said that once the Prophet ﷺ heard someone reciting the verses below. On hearing these words, the Prophet ﷺ said that this man had prayed with the ism-e-azam [the most exalted name] and that whosoever prays with this name has their dua granted by Allah سبحانه و تعالى

O Allah, I pray to You on the strength that I bear witness that You alone are Allah and that there is none worthy of worship except You. You are One and independent. No one was born of You nor were You born to anyone and there is none the equal of You.
