it was HARD to hold this feeling in her chest -- this weight on her shoulders. when zuko had first told her about the SOUTHERN RAIDERS, about who would have KILLED her mother, katara felt an unprecedented amount of ANGER inside. it felt as though any more and she would burst. now, with their approach to the fire nation NAVY, a ship stationed in the middle of the ocean, katara was more than ready to take on the soldiers. so, she DID, the full moon casting a ray of light over her face.
it was EASY to begin with, a tidal wave knocking the first group overboard, and appa lands without issue onto the deck of the ship. when katara got down, however, another group emerged from a lower door, fire appearing quicker than katara could react to -- there was TOO MUCH. while she managed to get the majority of the flames away, one rogue bender nearly hit her. NEARLY, because the next thing katara knew, she was on the ground, zuko above her, with a hand already moving to knock the soldier off his balance. ‘ THANKS. ’ something katara would never have imagined she would say to the banished prince.
