Can we call Wisp SMP Slushly and Nufuli “Maelstrom Duo”?

I know I think ive heard like hardcore duo or something but i personally didnt like it too much so ive been thinking of a different duo name that reflects their current character arcs

a maelstrom is a large ocean whirlpool formed when two opposing currents meet and create a violent, powerful spiral. maelstrom as a word can also be used to describe mental states of intense, conflicting, or chaotic events or emotions.

the oceanic term comes from nufuli’s water themes. “fish boy” with the snorkeling gear and all that jazz

the two opposing currents are slushly and nufuli. two players from very different backgrounds who meet and have their lives changed because of it.

the maelstrom itself is representative of just that— the strength in which each other have played a role in who they’re becoming now. the conflicting emotions and the confusion of identity and paths between them. they had their own path from the start (slushly of a hero, nufuli as a bounty hunter “bad guy”) but they’ve gotten themselves twisted and their paths entwined to the point they’ve lost their original paths (nufuli looking to redeem himself and be a hero, slushly letting go of his heroism to become a bounty hunter “bad guy”, despite how much he still wants to be the hero). for nufuli this is a pretty good thing, for slushly it is most definitely not

the emotional definition of maelstrom definitely applies most to slushly, who is clearly so lost and hurt and conflicted by nufuli’s betrayal. It sent him so off course, dragged him deep into this mental spiral and left his stranded and alone.

all maelstroms have a center though, where the opposites meet once more at the bottom of their spirals. nufuli and slushy have yet to meet again after that initial betrayal, the formation of their maelstrom, but i feel like it’s going to be a big clash at the center of their mutual spiral

my thought process while looking for a word like this was something to touch on their parallel paths, especially if it could also reference the way their arcs have swapped. At first it was something like “parallel duo” which is both a touch bland and also might be used already idk yet. but upon adding an aquatic touch to it from nufuli, I stumbled upon whirlpools/maelstroms and how they’re formed by two contrasting currents meeting. which i feel fits perfectly into their arcs

umm yeah that’s my reasoning!! wisp smp Slushly and Nufuli “Maelstrom Duo” propaganda, go!!!!

also i hope if it’s okay if i ping @mcytduonames for their opinion on this. I couldn’t find any wisp smp on the blog ..

Violet has three close friends; Felix, Amy, and Marvel. Although Violet never went to college like the rest of them, she still keeps in touch. Violet is looking for a home, and followed a phony realtor listing to Oakhurst. To their dismay, it's completely empty, except for a bunch of lunatics. (There is a lot more, but you'll have to wait until it comes up in lore! ;))
