📺🍿- With the Beakers and the Curious Bros! Seems like they'd probably have some movies/shows they'd enjoy.

🍿: Movies they like to watch

neither of the beakers are big on hitting up strangetown's unsanitary and mildly radioactive movie theater all to deal with JRO's constant heckling and loki's inability to stop smuggling truckloads of food in there. they usually just go for the rare must-see blockbuster sensations only to ultimately always be contrarian and insist it wasn't that impressive.

in the rare cases where they rent a movie or watch one on tv, they're not gonna bother with anything in the realm of action/comedy/romance/high fantasy and mostly go for the crime/thriller dpt for a good adrenaline rush, sometimes with the occasional sci-fi sprinkled in there if it's not too dorky. and YET they'll spend half the time trying to guess the plot/solve the mystery beforehand so they can claim to have expected the climax/ending all along!!

curibros watch any big sci-fi ip regardless of them believing it's good or not, it's simply What Needs To Be Done. lazlo is also big on comedies and slapstick humor, but vidcund and especially pascal are a nightmare to be around in these cases. vidcund going "ha ha, so funny :/" and pascal NEVER getting the joke and asking lazlo to explain it to him. vidcund otoh has a thing for period drama movies and is constantly made fun of for it.

📺: TV Show they like to watch

loki's taste in shows is very...specific. it's either (the sims universe version of) dramatic spanish and indian soap operas or BRUTAL historical fiction. there's no in-between.

circe can get behind the latter and occasionally joins loki there, but on her own she'd rather watch some bizarro documentary, ranging from questionable medical practices thruout human evolution all the way to scammers who got caught posing as socialites, and portraits of political leaders. ALSO despite her inability to cook food properly she has a weird thing for cooking shows and thus can pronounce all sorts of gourmet ingredients "the right way."

the curious brothers, if we are using real ips for a moment, are obv x-files and star trek stannies yet constantly argue about which star trek captain is the best one. vidcund is team picard, lazlo is team kirk and you bet pascal's favorite is janeway.

🎵: Music they listen to

dominic definitely goes full brian griffin and larps as a classical music connaisseur whenever possible yet can only play a handful of songs on that phony piano in his house. also listens to jazz and the likes, anything he considers cultivated.

otoh, virginya IS an actual music connaisseur since she's been dead for 435438753 years and witnessed so much music history firsthand. she also, UNDERSTANDABLY SO, has big time "music used to be much better" syndrome and noped out somewhere around the 60s. there's the occasional outlier and ballad from contemporary musicians she still enjoys.

annie, though, is definitely a fan of punk pop and the overall more edgy and guitar-y manifestations of 2000s pop music! 🎸

📗: Favourite School Subject

ophelia is pretty good at art class, but literature is the subject where she SHINES and genuinely expresses herself. she loves writing poems, and any teacher getting a hold of them believes all the macabre references in there to be infinitely more metaphorical than they actually are...

johnny loves swimming!! his kind thankfully doesn't suffer from the water sensitivity emperor xizzle suffers from and with whatever odd aquatic gene he also inherited from his mother (remember that jenny has flippers? what kind of experimental drugs did glarn take dude) he can breathe underwater and outswim everyone with EASE. 🌊

ripp can hardly be bothered with any subject and it usually varies accordingly to which teacher makes it easiest for him to sleep through class. even band class gives him a hard time because he's so unenthused about following the teacher's instructions. also definitely played Be A Good Child at their school's talent show, and yes, it was totally about buzz who since that fateful day refused to attend any more of them.

📕: Least Favourite School Subject

ophelia hates chemistry. it's simply too dangerous for her, she's always paranoid that she'll mess something up, that one of the other bozo students she doesn't trust messes something up (literally she's even GLAD she's not having this class with ripp) and that this is it. this is the day where the classroom will explode and strangetown high will create a horrific postmodernist monument of the great chemistry class disaster of '04.

ophelia's favorite subject is also johnny's most hated. he has a hard time reading into literary texts and often resorts to making up the most ridiculous, far-fetched crap about the author's intention which on one hand is very amusing, but he constantly flunks tests because of it, usually accompanied by the comment "did you even READ the text???"

ripp's objectively worst subjects are always foreign languages. nothing ever sticks with him, but he sure eventually googles all the common swearwords he'll miraculously remember and annoy everyone with for the rest of the year. he also cant stand physical education but it sure pales out against Army Fitness with Buzz(tm).

Age you started playing the Sims: i was six years old when my cousin (ah yes the common origin story for simmers) showed ts2 to me. really, REALLY wanted the game and following the logic of 'earlier iterations are less advanced' my dad instead decided to get me ts1. 8 y/o me would just put random fun objects on the terrain and build a giant pool (not knowing u need the ladder to get out) so all my first playthroughs became accidental mass executions with a jingle that scarred me for life <3

The first ever family you played: for premades, the calientes! 💃

First expansion pack you got (any part of the game): funnily enough i got a bunch of other games before getting ts2 for pc aka the one i wanted from the get-go. i am PRETTY sure my first ep was world adventures for ts3! for ts2, it was glamour life stuff. 💜

Favorite expansion packs: OFB for ts2, i'd say! but i'm also a huge fan of nightlife. similary i really can't pick between world adventures and late night for ts3.

Thing you would like to be added to the game: stability

Top 5 Worlds: pleasantview will always be my lil nostalgia hood, strangetown is just sooo massive once you get the spin-offs involved, roaring heights has an unmatched lvl of flair, sunset valley unites so many iconic families and lots....and again ill b unfair and present u with a tie btw bridgeport and veronaville.

Your 3 traits from Sims: assuming we're talking about ts4 traits, i'd go with: creative(tm), loyal, foodie 😋

🔮 Lincoln Broadsheet?

at some point, lincoln got a whole security upgrade to his belt because loki beaker tried stealing it several times to take it apart and replicate the anti-gravity technology. his first attempt included a tranquilizer dart...but once lincoln's torso flopped over to the front, the belt just went HAYWIRE and sent his passed-out form flying across the room at high speed in all possible directions like a glitched video game character.
