          ... Yes. Both of his past relationships involved his partner cheating on him, which has led to some unhealthy beliefs and behaviours, jealousy being one of them. He’d never be controlling, as someone that’s dealt with that himself, but it’s easy for Ben to start to view others as a threat to his relationship ( or, what might be more likely for him, losing someone who he’s in a friends-with-benefits situation with ). 

          It’s more likely to show in Ben trying to distance himself, and honestly... failing badly and being sulky. He might show a little He’s mine behaviour around a partner. Mostly Ben believes not being enough is sort of inevitable when it comes to him, which isn’t great for a healthy relationship. It’s really something he needs to learn to actually talk about.
