Thanksgiving Dessert
My Grandmother: “Ok, for dessert we have pumpkin pie, apple pie, ice cream, brownies, and dark chocolate truffles.”
My Uncle: “And those are all available...now?”
Grandmother: “Yes, and if you can’t decide what you want, you can pass, phone a friend, or ask the audience.”
This was on Thursday's "Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?". Nov. 1, 2018

Millionaire Hot Seat
Remember ITV's hit show Who Wants to be a Millionaire? They've brought it back, and it's shrunk in storage.
Looks familiar, the question style is familiar, even the music's familiar. But different - unusual colours, the addition of a clock, and the music is not quite right.
Chris Tarrant's changed, too - he's been replaced by Jeremy Clarkson from Robot Wars and other shows. Clarkson is competent, but never rises to Tarrent's levels of greatness; maybe the abbreviated format prevents him from stringing out the tension.
Also: a tribute to Jennifer Turner, one of the other lead writers on UKGameshows.
Quizzy Mondays has the Only Connect Third Place Play Off, University Challenge nip-and-tuck, and Neil from The Young Ones asks to go to the toilet.
Plus news about London's Transport Race (and thanks to whoever it was here that tipped me off about the fun) and Strange Games comes to Crawley for a weekend.
