Ethan closes his eyes. “Okay,” he whispers. He closes his eyes slowly and leans his head back. London thinks he’s fallen asleep until he asks, “So that means I’m hallucinating?”

“Yeah,” London says. Ethan’s face crumbles for half a second but then he looks okay. “You can tell me what you’re hearing, though,” London says. “Maybe it could help?”

Ethan takes a deep breath. “There’s this…" he exhales again, making a fist and then absentmindedly letting it go, "buzzing. It's clouding out everything else. I can barely… think."

London nods. “Okay, that’s… less worrying than it could be. It’s probably just an after effect from last night.”

Ethan shrugs. “Knowing that doesn’t really help.”

What have I been up to?

Okay, so as you can tell, I’ve been updating here sparingly over the last couple of weeks.  That’s because I’ve been applying to NAIT, a technical school in Northern Canada.

And on Thursday night, I received acceptance papers for a January 2019 start date.  I still don’t know the proper registration date for the courses in my program (Water and Waste Water Technician), hopefully tomorrow I’ll get ahold of them and determine a proper date.

Between this and planning another trip to Seattle for Emerald City Comicon, I’m also trying to work out having a special someone come with me, lets call her J for short.

This will be her first time attending ‘con, and my second, so I’m trying to find things and actors and stuff to do while we’re there, because if I’m not careful, my stuff will take over.  And I don’t want my stuff to encompass her vacation.

I still want to go find Becky Cloonan and ask her if she’s doing commissions this year, I would love to get a picture of Harper Row done by her for my wall.
