shadows and steel, my Maiko arranged marriage au because it was extremely self-indulgent and yet people really seemed to like it???
Blossoming Jealousy, a Tangled fic about Rapunzel's learning to get over her jealousy over Eugene's close friendship with Lance. Honestly this one's pretty self-indulgent too but I had a lot of fun picking apart how Rapunzel's trauma would influence her relationships and giving my boy Lance some page time. :)
Wake Me Up, or the evolution of Dolls waking up Wynonna. Even though I stopped watching Wynnona Earp (for obvious reasons), Wyndolls was such a special pairing to see onscreen and I enjoyed writing something warm and comforting for them before it all went to pieces in the show.
Take It Out On Me, a super angsty fic for Wyallie from The Fosters. A very different vibe than my usual schtick, and therefore a fun experiment. There's almost no fic for them in general so even though very few people have read it, I am happy that I could contribute to the fandom for the small pool of shippers.
bruise belies the break, my ongoing fic centering on Suki's downward spiral (and eventual healing) after the war. I know I haven't updated in a looooong time but this fic still means a lot to me and every smidgeon of encouragement I get from people who like it makes my day.
I didn't completely hate Brallie in the beginning but like? it was at least interesting the first time? stop? bringing? it? back?
Welp, I always hated Br*llie. From the moment Wyatt came out in 1x03, I was a hardcore shipper of him and Callie. I knew that I would ultimately be disappointed but I still shipped it!

Fic you were nervous to post: A Little Drunk, which is a Galeanna fic I wrote when I was younger (before I had an ao3 account). My first and only M-rated fic, which...I’m not really an M-rated type of writer, lol. I often worry about it romanticizing a toxic relationship or being inappropriate for the fandom/characters it’s for. I have some ideas for continuing it but it still makes me nervous.
How you choose your titles: Song lyrics/titles, or words that sound poetic to me.
Do you outline: For chapter fics, YES. For shadows & steel, I have story notes on my phone + my laptop, and post-its next to my bed filled with dialogue snippets, as well as two timelines: one to keep track of how the overall story follows the same timeline as the episodes in the series, and one specifically for Mai’s journey.

Will feature Sukka, a LOT of Suki/Team Avatar friendship, a Kyoshi-themed festival, cute Maiko and Kataang moments, discussions of Ty Lee and Mai’s complicity, Sokka trying to figure out his place in the world, and probably a million tagged/cited references to y’all here on Tumblr who have taught me or inspired me! (Probably rated T for trauma-related themes fyi)
currently untitled Kataang chapter fic (!!!) set 8 years after the war. A trip to the Northern Water Tribe brings up a series of questions, concerns, compromises, and conflicts for Aang and Katara about what the future of their relationship holds, especially what building an inter-nation family would mean for them. Will feature Sukka and Maiko living their best married lives, Toph living her best unmarried life, explorations of Air Nation and Water Nation culture, and some fun surprises. (Probably rated T--yes the characters are older and most of them are married but will be 100% sfw because that is how we roll)

When I started shipping them: The second I saw him ripping up his assignment because he saw her tearing hers up. It was an act of solidarity that he wasn't obligated to perform (and frankly a bad idea from a scholastic pov) and I thought it was super sweet. I joked that she should date him instead of lusting after her foster brother, never dreaming that it would turn into a 3 season will-they-wont-they lol
My thoughts: Wasted potential. Wyallie was a couple that had plenty of opportunities for conflict while also having a healthy, sweet dynamic built from a solid friendship. Both of them have a ton of emotional baggage but are genuinely good people who want the best for each other, listen to each other, and can grow as individuals and as a couple from being together. I hate that they torpedoed such a wholesome ship in favor of the drama that Br*llie brought.
What makes me happy about them: Wyatt was such a sweetie (like so much so that they literally couldn’t get rid of him; he kept leaving and then popping up out of the blue because even the writers knew he was a gem) and Callie deserved a sweetie. They had so many cute moments: Him giving her his drawing from his closet, their conversation outside the hospital where he literally ENCOURAGED HER TO GO FOR ANOTHER GUY BECAUSE HE WANTED HER HAPPY, him showing up to support her & Jude’s adoption hearing, the hair jokes, the hug at the dance thing, snuggling in the movie theatre, THE KISS TO MAKE HER FEEL BETTER AT WORK, (my fave kiss from them of all time).
What makes me sad about them: They were never given a proper chance--both Wyatt’s character and their relationship was a plot device that the writers used to tease the audience about Br*llie (just like all of C & B’s “relationships”, tbh. AJ, Talya, Whatsherface with the kid, Lou, Grace, Aaron, that kiss with Ximena that never came up, etc). Even if they hadn't been endgame, it would have been nice if the relationship had been a learning opportunity or some kind of healing experience for Callie, or if they had been able to maintain a healthy friendship afterwards that was a source of support for her. Wyatt basically became another victim of Callie’s tendency for self-destruction and it was sad that their relationship/friendship was used for repetitive drama instead of character development. Wyatt was then shafted a second time when he was used as a device to keep Mat & Mariana apart, which I will never get over.
Things done in fanfic that annoys me: Uhhh that there is NO fanfiction for them????
Things I look for in fanfic: Any fanfiction about them. Any at all.
My wishlist: For Wyatt to be Callie’s endgame on Good Trouble ;)
Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: For Callie, AJ or Ximena. For Wyatt, I have no clue. I would say Lou but I ship her with Talya soooo
My happily ever after for them: Callie and Wyatt meet again several years down the road for coffee. Callie is in a healthy place emotionally, has a steady job and goes regularly to her therapist. Wyatt has a creative outlet and a home to call his own. They’re older, somewhat wiser, and have a lot of weird life experiences to share with one another. After four or so of these coffee chats, Callie invites Wyatt back to her place. What she assumes will be a one-night stand with an old flame instead becomes a chaste movie night, them falling asleep on the couch together. In the morning she calls her old friend Daphne, who, it turns out, was wondering where her roommate Wyatt has been all night. Jude & Jesus are thrilled, Mariana is only slightly jealous, and Stef & Lena rejoice privately while feigning neutrality to Callie’s face. It takes several years before they call what they do a relationship and even more until they marry in Stef & Lena’s backyard, but they’ve learned by now that sometimes it’s ok to let love take its time.
