Illegally adorable. And then having them be able to be public at the end of the episode and the way it was subtle to no one and how sweet they were and how excited Paul was?!!? I am gone. How joyful.

Poor Maitoh had someone turn him down gently and then come back to him and then had his best friend turn out to have a giant crush on him and now his entire life is being turned upside down because what does he want... besides a peaceful life?
This boy went from living his life as a tiny gay with a best friend and nothing much else to a boy with two people in love with him and all kinds of complicated feelings. Poor Maitoh.
Why You... Y Me? is making me realize what those K-drama girlies feel when they lose it over the second lead. (But, the thing is I don't really know who the second lead is in the Green-Maitoh-Shogun triangle LMAO). Either way, I heart the trio, and if it was possible, I wish this could be a really nice poly relationship.
I wish we could have a polycule with them. That'd be the best dream. It'd be amazing. And it'd be exactly what Miatoh deserves.
Because Maitoh deserves so much love and so many people and to be so, so happy. Not to be stuck between two people who love him and having to choose who he loves more or who he loves enough to truly date. This poor boy.
This is the first love triangle where I've genuinely not been sure who he ends up with. Light On Me went that way for a bit but it quickly became very obvious who TaeKyung was going to choose in the end... but for Maitoh? I just don't know.
Shogun came through! He came to his home and he explained his feelings and he faced Maitoh! Green came out from jealousy to face him as well. And Maitoh has had multiple flashbacks to both of them and it's immense.
Like... I still can't believe I genuinely don't know.
I love them so much.
But I am on team Shogun... even though, I admit, I think he loses. @gillianthecat has been saying that this might be a 'split the trio by using Maitee for Shogun' situation but I dunno how I feel about that. Actually, I do, and I really hate it. Because it destroys this character growth we've seen of Shogun realizing he likes Maitoh for Maitoh and to stop caring and it makes him look like he's spinning around on a whim... but no one said this show was actually deep so it might be.
I dunno.
I'm torn.
And I love them all.
Maitoh sitting between Green and shogun, so awkward and so stiff and so afraid and so nervous and the way Green helps him automatically but Shogun is trying to find a place to help and to participate so awkwardly and it's killing me because Maitoh still loves him and Shogun realized he loved him as well and they need to talk and I am dying I love them so much.
I haven't watched why you y me but I came across some short videos on youtube on these two - Maitoh and Shu? (I'm sorry if the names aren't correct). Could you please tell me whether they get a happy ending and overall if the show is worth trying?
Maitoh and Shogun, most likely, and yes! They do! And I was rapturous about it becasue I was very worried about how that love triangle was gonna go,
But there is a happy ending for the boys and especially for Maitoh, my beloved little outed boy. I love him so much.
I ended up enjoying the show but the main het couple just wasn't it for me. But the two BL couples on the side were quite good and sweet and darling... so do I recommend it? Yes. Especially if you're willing to FF/ignore the main couple. Is it perfect? No. Of course not. Nothing is.
But I really enjoyed the show, the two BL couples and the sweetness that they captured with both of them, from one relationship being about the pain of being in a closet but lightheartedly and sweetly while the other dealt with coming to terms with your feelings and accepting when other people move on as well as when you need to just love and stop worrying about what the love means.
... Yeah, I really liked the side couples in this show.
