-vee....it's too fond of you at first, I won't lie, she already knew deliah and Arthur wanted to get her replaced, so what's stopping her from thinking you're just step one of that process?? Get a cute new toon as her co host, let them hog all the attention and when you're popular enough, replace her?? It definitely didn't help you were more advanced tech, she would never admit that though
-you didn't get why vee was so cold to you at first, you were quite literally made to help! You wanted to help her! Why wouldn't she let you do anything...??
-the TV would often be bitter, passive aggressive or straight up ignore you during the game show, as well after, a part of her was aware this was probably just her insecurities talking, you weren't doing anything malicious to her, that's clear as day, but again, she was stubborn, and won't admit that, at least...
-at least til astro talked to her, he could tell her dreams were...concerning lately, and wanted to check on her, astro actually was surprised when he got vee to spill how she really felt, the stress and anxiety you give her about being replaced..
-Sure, the fellow main toon didn't know a bunch about kids, but he tried his best to give some advice
-"try to stop seeing {reader} as a replacement and just... Another fan, I guess... They look up to you similar to one afterall..."
-vee had to sit for a good moment and process that, maybe it would be useful to have a change in view about you...
-so from that day forward, vee tried to act less aggressive towards you, Put on a more charming act, and when comfortable enough, actually try to get to know you since you both will be spending a lot of time together, you're... More pleasant than she thought you'd be.
-do you get on her nerves time to time? Yes, does she still sometimes accidentally shove you out of the spotlight? Yeah, but she knows when to proudly show off your moments, and will occasionally ask for your thoughts on games.
-if a toon like shrimpo or brusha start acting rude towards you, she'll get protective, usually making some snappy comment towards them and pulling you away with her tail, then gives you a small lecture about not talking to toons like those, they're a bad influence.
-vees love language is less explicit and more subtle, it's easy to miss for a lot of toons, but sometimes she'll ask you for help moving boxes or making a entrance as 'hanging out', if you two regularly go on runs she lets you keep the bandaids and cans of pop
-if you're a similar age to toodles vee will very begrudgingly ask Rodger if you two can socialize, the TV wants you to have some kind of friend around your age, and its not easy to come by in gardenview, so unless you want to wait a good year for groudy, toodles is your best bet for a friend.
-if you're a little on the older side, she wouldn't care too much about who you hang out with, sure if she doesn't like them she makes it known, but either wise she lets you have your friends, just don't drag her into it
-would ask brightney if you could join the bookclub if you enjoy books, again. Vee knows stuff like hobbys and friends are important for growth, and doing stuff like these are the main reason how she show she cares
-Romantic relationships are pretty fine by her, you need to be old enough of course, and but expect her to have chat with your partner before wise, she keeps it very short if not slightly cold, she wants to make sure this is a good person for you, and doesn't want you going out with a massive dick of course, just like any older sibling
-speaking of that, it took vee awhile to call herself your 'sibling' or even your 'friend', she would call you her 'assistant' or 'cohost', and its still fairly rare for her to call herself a sister to you.. It's not that she doesn't feel that way, it just feels weird to say outloud, again. Not a super vocal love language...
-overall, you have surprisingly grown on her a ton, she couldn't imagine her life without you! And now she has something else she gets to brag about having that dandy doesn't have...having a wonderful little sibling!
