Magnus walked out of the room when he was done speaking with Camille, and looked around for his boyfriend. He spotted Isabelle and went to ask if she'd seen him. "He sulked off to his room." She smirked before turning and walking away. The warlock sighed then headed towards the young shadowhunters bedroom. 

"Alexander?" He asked, knocking softly on his door.

One Year | Xander-Lightwood & Highwarlock-Bane

Magnus was dressed in simple clothes, harem pants and a tight black t-shirt. He was watching a scary movie on tv. Even though ghosts and stuff didn't scare him the scenes that made you jump still scared him. And just as a demon jumped through a mirror his boyfriend opened the door to the apartment. Magnus screamed and threw popcorn all over the place, causing Chairman to run into the closet as fast as he possibly could. "ALEC!" He yelled and threw popcorn at his boyfriend. "Don't scare me like that"

Short fic

Variel had just finished training and she opened the front door to the institute and she found her dad sitting there on the steps crying, she went and tapped him on the shoulder and he turned and looked at her.

“I need to speak with everyone” his voice hardly raised above a whisper and she nodded and they walked into the Kitchen, she sat him down and she ran off and found everyone. They all took seats at the table and Magnus took a breath shuddering breath.

“I got word a few minutes ago that Alec well he was found-“ his voice caught and Variel put a comforting hand on her dad’s shoulder “He was found dead”

Variel froze and she stepped back as Izzy and Magnus hugged, both of them were crying. It took a few moments to really sink in and she ran out of the room and she ran to the only place she wanted to be. She ran to the Library and she went to the door to the hidden room, she wrote out the runes and she went in and she shut the door. She ran and threw herself into the piles of blankets and pillows crying, she hugged one of the pillows to her chest. She closed her eyes and she buried her head into the pillow.

“You promised you wouldn't leave Papa, you promised” she said in a broken whisper and she cried herself to sleep, over the next week she only came out of the secret room when she had to and cried herself to sleep every night.
