“Why are you still with that asshole?” Xavier asked his friend knowing that he was being a bit harsh. He just couldn’t understand why Jade stayed with someone who didn’t treat her the way that she deserved. This was by far not the first time that she had come over here upset over something that he’d said to her. “Why don’t you break up with him and date someone who will treat you better?”

Xavier looked over at Valerie and let out a small chuckle. “He was definitely flirting with you.” He said, and it wasn’t like he could blame the man in question. Valerie was an incredibly attractive person after all. “Next time that happens I can’t be held responsible if I start displaying a lot of PDA to show that you’re mine.”

Xavier felt that Alyvia had been avoiding him and the man wanted to know why. The man had thought things were going well between them, and their friendship had been slowly moving towards something else. Then all at once it seemed that the woman had pulled away and had been so distant. Xavier had tried to give her space but now she really just wanted to know what was going on. The man needed to know what he’d done, and if there was anything at all he could do to fix things between them. He knocked on her door and waited to see if she would answer.

Xavier sent his friend a soft smile at her words. “I know you are, but unfortunately there are some things that you just aren’t really able to help me with.” He added as it wasn’t as if he had any problems that she could solve. Xavier was just going through a rough patch in his life right now, and he had to deal with it on his own.
