Kids These Days | Scarlett & Damon
Anshar, open your damned door. Scarlett’s fingers were tangled in her hair as she worked to tie it back from her face. She’d dressed in dark, comfortable clothes, a knife strapped to her thigh. She was going hunting, whether the younger Original joined her or not. They needed to do something to remind the little government group just who they were dealing with, and taking one of their own seemed like the best way to do that.
She pulled a hair-tie from her mouth and used it to secure her ponytail, crossing her arms over her chest as she waited. “I swear, I’ll go without you. You’d probably just slow me down anyway.” She’d be chastised like a child the last time she’d gone off on her own, an argument she didn’t plan on repeating. If Damon didn’t join her, she’d likely have to drag along one or two of the Second Generations, and she would definitely prefer the company of the former. Especially for something like this. He’d have just as much fun with it as she would, maybe even more, and that made him the best choice.
