Every year, when I play the lantern rite quest and there are Xiaother crumbs, I miss them and last year I started writing this thing. 

Basically, it’s the Liyue Archon Quest, but there is no Paimon and Aether is just skipping Mondstadt.

Summary:

When Aether wakes up at the beach, he is alone. So all alone he makes his way into the strange countries, where no one understands him and everyone is deep in their own problems.

Xiao has found comfort in his routine and he spends his time at Wangshu Inn, surround by people, but still alone.
