"Despite their latest triumph against evil and finally getting a leader elected, things are uncertain as ever for the Xiaolin Dragons.

Despite the time paradox self-repairing, Omi's meddling in the timelines still had consequences in the form of everyone gaining bits and pieces of timelines that never were or could be. The question is, how do these pieces fit together in this timeline, and whose downfall will it be?

The Dragon of Wood may be the key, but to what? With all the things evil hides in darkness, it is unclear.

Jack Spicer is having second thoughts about his goals after seeing the timelines he did. Now the question remains, where does he belong in the conflict, and is leaving in this crucial moment just what one side needs to win?"

Random Heylin swap AU that I can't stop thinking about:

Jack is a useless ghost who thinks he is very powerful (but was probably trapped in the puzzle for being annoying)

Wuya is a lizard lady (a sexy lizard lady!! 🦎)

Chase is an actually competent up and coming villain who Jack is haunting

More Avatar stuff but now it's the (main-ish?) Heylins! (The main 4 kids are here )

Jack - Fire nation citizen. Hes a non-bender but he's pretty inventive so he makes weapons for the fire nation (He works with Kimiko's dad, who is also a weapon-maker in this AU thing, so he knows her). He goes after Omi and his group on some occasions but really starts being a more reoccurring presence once Kimiko betrays the fire nation.

Wuya - The Earth Kingdom queen (whos in charge of the Dai Li and acts more like the queen in LoK). Not sure if shes an earthbender or not but if you're wondering why I made her Earth Kingdom when most Heylin are fire nation its literally just cause of the rock monsters she controls in XS lol.

Chase - Fire Lord. Yeah, Chase being fire lord was kind of an eehhh,, decision but Dragonnutt's Wu Xing Shield (on AO3 and ff.net, check it out, its amazing) brought me to the headcanon that Chase was the previous Dragon of Fire. (Personally, Guan was earth and Dashi was wind, which works cause Dashi was the previous avatar before Omi and he was an airbender and Omi's a waterbender wow that actually kinda worked out- but I'm rambling). So yeah hes a Firebender but hes not like Ozai lmao; his philosophy is gonna be more like how he is in Showdown. He looks down on using Shen Gong Wu so here he looks down on using bending to fight and prides(?) himself in fighting "traditionally", though he doesnt just,, not knowledge himself on how to fight with his bending (meaning he practices but barely uses it in fights). I didnt put him in the normal fire lord robe cause; 1. This is an AU, not the exact thing. 2. Its Chase, I couldnt imagine him in it. 3. I actually really like his og outfit.

Shadow - Idk if it's a shock to see her here cause I literally mentioned Patty in the previous post (but Kimiko doesnt have a sister here; idk wtf that was in Chronicles) but yeah. I also dont exactly like the (highkey Adam and Eve) romantic(?) dynamic she had with Chase in Chronicles and so I choose to see them as family. Shes Chase's sister? Daughter? Who really gives a fuck? TLDR; They're related (if they're siblings- exasperated older brother and bratty little sister dynamic) and shes basically like Azula in ATLA. Shes the one mostly chasing the main gang. Shes a firebender and shes one of the more dangerous ones cause shes one of the only ones that can bend lightning. Chase can bend it (but like I said, he doesnt like doing it) and Kimiko can but juuuust barely (she mostly redirects it).

That explanation was longer than I expected. So yeah those are the villains. I know I'm twisting a lot of things here but hey, I'm having fun with this 🤷‍♀️

The fact theres so little canon divergent aus in the Xiaolin fandom. Like, there really arent many works on alternate Apprentice endings, and nobody aknowledges the potential of Robo-Jack as a villain. Just. Aaaaa

I have a Jack-centered post series au I need to get off my chest. Maybe someday I'll fully write it down but I'm gonna give you guys the name before dropping the base concept a while later.

It's called the Burnout au and I'll likely host it on my new and not yet set up blog @xiaolin-reboot where I'll also host an attempt at a community contributed reboot concept, aka I'll try to spark discussion of potential season 4 shenanigans and post/reblog with credit those I think fit best.

Xiaolin Showdown but its Avatar 👉👈

Omi-The Avatar (cause hes canonically the only one to control the four other elements even if it was bc of Wu), initially from the Water Tribe. Has to go on a journey to rescue his guardian (Master Fung) from the fire nation cause he was taken while trying to protect Omi. M. Fung wasnt able to fully teach him the other three elements before he was taken so Omi learns them along the way with certain teachers,,

Raimundo- Airbender, Omi's airbending teacher & the first one to join Omi. He ran away from the Air nomads and joined the circus (cause deadass I think Chronicles made that canon 💀) and doesnt reveal hes an airbender immediately. He doesnt even wear those clothes in my AU I just wanted to draw him in it lmao.

Clay-Earthbender, Omi's earthbending teacher (Only earth bender in his family-Hes favored by his parents for it but this makes Jessie and Patty lowkey resent him). He runs away with Team Avatar cause his parents were trying to use his bending abilities to their benefit.

Kimiko-Firebender, Omi's firebending teacher and the last one to join the team. Shes a villain at first, being the daughter of a nobleman (Toshiro) in the fire nation and one of the skilled firebenders but joins Team Avatar p quickly bc she wants to get her father away from the Fire Nation (which are basically the Heylins).

So yeah I basically made an AU 👉👈 I know I'm far from the first one to think of this but I thought it would be fun to draw it out my way!

Also disclaimer, I didnt come up with the outfits myself. Various googled references and multiple look-backs at the outfits in ATLA were used haha.

I used screenshot references for Kimiko and Clay (Mako redirecting lightning and, like I said, the toph screenshot)
