Masterlist

The Expanse.

He drifted aimlessly.

There was only a deep indigo in every direction.

He’d lost track of the days.

Did time even pass out here?

Was there anything other than this vast expanse of nothingness?

He couldn’t remember.

He didn’t try to remember anymore. If he ever did that is.

He just knew that he needed to keep moving. It was a lingering fear that something would catch him, again. Whatever that something was.

It didn’t help that he was slower than a sea tortoise on land.

Not that he’s ever seen a tortoise on the land. If he got too close to land his tentacles would get knotted together. He couldn’t let that happen. Not again.

That’s how he got caught. Too curious. Too close. He got stuck in his net. He took him to a bright place where the water tasted wrong. They stabbed him with quills that changed color. He couldn’t think straight when he was there. But those scars on his face were burned into his memories. Terrible scars highlighted by piercing purple eyelights-

He blinked.

He’d drifted towards the deep, he thinks?

The expanse seemed deeper than before. Or was it closer?

He pumped his jellyfish half.

He had to keep moving.

He couldn’t be caught, again.

Had he been caught before?

He couldn’t remember.

ATV begins again. Sorry for the sudden change everyone, but I had to make it happen. Aetherverse has a much, much cleaner flow now, and has a much nicer start to it.

Putting more thought into this guy. Wanted to retain that artsy element while still giving him a blade, so voila, palette knife!

Looking at palette knife art for this was actually really cool, It’s rough but neat looking. Actually, its roughness is what makes it so neat to me, and I feel that it’s a bit ironic given X-Gaster’s track record with perfection. Might be a source of frustration.
