Sometimes, while being fixated on a fandom, I’ll get nostalgic for another fandom, and Crossover/Crossunder/MergedAUs will spawn.

Sailor Moon, but the Sailor Senshi are all ladies of the Lost Tomb Universe. (and therefore none of them die, ever.)

(Because every fandom should have a Sailor Moon AU? Maybe? And also I accidentally slipped and shipped A-Ning/Xiuxiu...)

A-Ning can’t explain what she’s feeling when she sees the young woman Hei-ye brings back. There’s the barest echo of it in the white and pink clad man, but the young woman...

She’s not usually so affected by people, even Wu Xie who was so interesting, whom her boss was so interested in, wasn’t half as distracting as this woman.

Huo Xiuxiu.

The name isn’t familiar, but A-Ning sees every time she looks over at the woman, every time her disipline breaks and her eyes seek Miss Huo out, Miss Huo is already looking back.

A touch of confusion and curiosity causing the faintest of wrinkles upon her brow.

A-Ning doesn’t know why she’s so reluctant to have Xiuxiu out of her sight, wants to argue when Xie Yu Chen tries to tell Xiuxiu to leave, but she catches herself in time.

Xiuxiu knows this feeling.

She met someone who used to be a friend, someone she hasn’t seen in what feels like forever.

She’d felt it the first time she’d met Yu Chen, the first time she’d met Xiao Yao. She’d always thought it was just the first time she’d remembered meeting them, and it had always made sense, but she can’t understand why this mercenary seems so familiar.

She knows she should offer to go investigate the tapes, to question her grandmother... she’s trained as all her family are, but she’s never really done field work.

Xiuxiu should follow Yu Chen’s advice as she usually does, follow his lead, but...

A-Ning looks back at her as if...

Getting Wu Xie on her side takes a dirty trick and some fast talking, but he backs her up until Yu Chen relents. Xiuxiu can’t leave.

Senshi have the unerring ability to locate their celestial body in relation to themselves. Once the Wu extended Fam figure out what’s happening, they start checking new ladies in their lives by taking them star gazing and casually asking about the ‘unassigned’ planets.

Chuchu’s trying to explain to Hei Xiazi that actually she would like to stay with the exploration team a little longer and see more of Xiazi’s world so she can make an informed decision for herself when suddenly Wu Xie asks if anyone knows where Saturn is. Chuchu immediately stops signing, twisting to point behind herself and up a little, not breaking her gaze from Xiazi, then after only a few seconds pause, goes straight back to her conversation.)

Except: Despite being reincarnations, Lost Tomb generation are able to break free from their past lives, they aren’t necessarily stuck recreating past roles. Endymion and Moon being in love doesn’t mean Xiao Hua and Xiuxiu are romantically tethered.

They aren’t reliving past mistakes but able to acknowledge and move past them because when they were reborn, they became different people. They are affected by their past, and it brings them together, but they are able to choose what to do with that bond. (and their powers.)
