Night's White Day reply:

"Haha, the deer and the kitten look really cozy on that boat...or are they actually there to judge you while you woo?"

"Why would they be there to judge - huh...you know, they are looking pretty intensely...maybe it's a good thing we're not on that White Day outing?"

"What are you doin' on a date that you're worried about a deer and a cat lookin' at you? It's just a deer and a cat."

"It's not 'just' a deer and a cat! It's a deer and a kitten!"

"'kay. Big whoop."

"if you aren't careful...they'll eat all the food while you're on your White Day trip!"

"Right...don't think that's what the two bozos are nervous about."

"Oi!"

"Who are you calling bozos?! You don't think it would be odd to be stared at throughout the whole evening?"

"And to have to watch your food all night..."

"Speaking of food, I spy with my little eye something...interesting."

[He looks at the woods. A bulky shadow sways from a distant tree branch. He heads over to take a look.]

"Aha, he's gone!"

[Ambrosia crouches down and reaches out to start stroking the kitten's head.]

"Aww, you're so cute...it took every bit of me to resist telling Sir X - Lady Bo-Peep is right! It's not just a deer and a kitten...they are absolute adorableness.

Hehe...I'm so glad Lady Serph gave me this secret extra something. Although, I didn't think he should have the full cookie so I ate most of it. It was delicious! If you have more, I would certainly be happy to partake.

Now, here's a treat for you, little kitty..."

[When Night has gone over, he sees a jar hanging from a branch with a rope. Inside the jar is a quarter of a cookie. He smiles as he reaches up for it.]

"And here, I almost thought there would be...something else hanging here. It's just a cookie."

[Popping open the jar, he withdraws the cookie and takes a bite.]

"Mm...I know your taste, Serph. I'll be seeing you soon."

in the midst of my lightheadedness as a result of my exhaustion and thirst, i am now thinking of whether or not i confess something to you all. i do have in mind that if i post this i will probably chicken out and end up leaving the masses (which is all of you who have seen this, probably a maximum amount of 7?) in a cliffhanger.

I can't help but wonder where unknown is and what he's doing on virgo island during literally everything. where is he in the war. where was he before that. did the war screw him up or was that something else. if hes a hulder what do other hulder think of him. if hes NOT a hulder what is he and what do his clan mates think of him. is he okay physically and mentally. girl help my brain is having thoughts again

ANYWAY fun story his mask is based on a dream I had.

It's very fuzzy now but I vividly remember having a dream that was just flashes of scenes from batw, none of which I can recall fully. these flashes and almost entirely the rest of the dream was in BATW's usual art style. After the flashes stopped, the dream cut to a scene of ambrosia, in a cell on virgo island that's in the ground. she looks up, and it cuts to what she's seeing -- unknown peering down at her through a small hole in the cell's ceiling, grinning as per usual, and he's wearing a mask like the one I drew. Also, he looked like he was drawn in my art style?? which is STRANGE. BUT OK.

(Now that I think about it, unknown might have been in my style because of how frequently I draw him, as opposed to how much art of him we have from CR. so....... i may need to tone down drawing him so much LMAO)

That dream probably doesn't make ANY sense, but thats how my dreams usually are lol. basically the image of unknown with a cool half mask really stuck with me and probably overrode the memory of the rest of that dream. so THANKS unknown

Also here's an alt version that looked cool while I was testing out some wacky colors before shading. it didn't really fit the vibe I was going for tho so I replaced it.

You can also see his feather cloak here which makes me go <3 <3 <3 I know not all the hulder have avian imagery in their clothes (and that unknown might not even be hulder lolz) but my brain made the connection that dttr blanket = batw feather cloak and I liked it a lot

Perhaps if he really, really, was willing to try to explain himself, would eventually ignore a complex psychological, contextual, and even scientific analysis of himself, everything and everyone and just throw all the blame on his snake’s instincts. Just because he could.

 Crow approached the shape who calmly read a book in his armchair. A shape who was probably fully aware about the black-haired’s presence. Even that the last keep on his way with footsteps that barely generate any sound as touched the floor. His tongue absently wagged in the air for a few seconds, only the among of time necessary to wrap his arms in a clumsy hug around Az’s neck, placing his chin delicately on top of his hair so blond it almost bordered a limpid white.

 The feeling was always there, just as it had been for most of their stay on Earth. However, sometimes this sensation grew, and filled him with such a strength and intensity that it was as if suddenly the entire world has disappear (‘disappear’ and not ‘had been completely destroyed along with all the life being covered in it by the Apocalypse’, got it, Hell?) and only left both. As if all the gratitude, relief, trust, affection… The happiness that they were finally together took over every inch of his body and he suddenly could no longer contain it all anymore.

 - Crow, my dear, I’m trying to read. – But, in truth, the one with blue eyes couldn’t hide the smile in his words nor in his face as he felt the demon nuzzling his hair strands, sporadically depositing quick pecks on it, as an adorable small reptile with more than six thousand years old.

 But this wasn’t the real point here. The serious and real point. Actually, the real point was…

 Was…

 Abruptly the short’s mind went completely blank. His golden eyes opened, don’t moving a single inch as they focused on Az. His conscience and rationality even tried to hold a meeting in his mind, seeking to bring at least a shred of common sense to their host. However, they again discussed about what was better: Wine or Bentley; and didn’t even realized when the impulse won. In a blink of an eye (Not Crow’s, though, since he still with his glare fixated on the other’s hair) it took control over his actions and-

 - Ouch! Crow!! – Az jumped some inches with fright, reaction that was quickly replaced by a sharp look and furrowed brows, staring at his husband as he massaged that specific point on his nape. His expression was more surprise than anything else. – Di-Did you bitted me?

 - It was light, angel. – His protest came out muffled, since he wiped the tongue on his shirt’s tip, rethinking about all his choices trough life. – Why does your hair have to smell so good? Look what you made me do. – And milacred a glass of wine to clean the flavor from his mouth.

 - Pardon me. You’re the one who bitted me and yet am I the one to blame? – He watched closely the one with serpent eyes sat in front of him and showed him his forked tongue, one eyebrow reaised.

 It took exactly ten minutes, (which was quite pleasant since that this game lasted one whole week, one time.) before Crow could no longer ignore his glaze, and came back to the position he were in the story’s beginning. Combing with his fingers the blonde hair, giving it a quick apologetic kiss in the place hit by his illogic and momentary impulse. Took the opportunity to become a snake and happily crawling the upholstery to the other’s thigh, returning only to involve him in his arms in a more firmly hug, that’s true, yet equally clumsy if compared to the previous one.

 Az released a nasal laugh, kissing the corner of Crow’s mouth, and, even knowing about the happy smile which would take over his husband’s face, yet felt falling in love more and more for the one with black (and always properly cleaned and tidy about twice a day, thank you very much.) wings.

 - How were you the adorable demon chosen to take care of the Armageddon stills being a mystery to me. – Stroked his cheeks.

 - How you didn’t have been expelled from the Heaven for your dark side stills a mystery to me.

 - The difference is that I don’t try to hide it, Crow dear. – And showed that smile which broke all the barriers from the golden-eyes.

 - Oh, ssssshut up. – His cheeks blushed, going easily to fire when the blonde-haired deposited one more kiss in each one, leading him to hide his face on the other’s shoulder, hoping that he would utter no further teasing.

 Az only smiled a little more, readjusting the book’s position so that he could read it comfortably in the new situation, humming calmly during the process.

 A few hours passed with both being packed by the sweet sound of the silent mixed with pages turning. Crow felt his eyelids begin to feel heavy and adjusted himself a little bit more in Az’s lap, his glaze stopping in his shoulder, looking for the most cozy position for a nap.

 His mind went blank. His eyes didn’t even blink as they fixated one more time in his prey.

 ...Nhac.

 - Ouch- Crow, I swear to Go-.

When I searched to credit the inspiration, I saw that it was way TOO similar

I made an edit mixing 3 drawing to avoid that resemblance XD

It's still notable the inspiration, although idea of my drawings are slightly different of original work, I didn't mean to copy, HUE

So, folks, there's some times that you hate how good memory is working XPP
