Côtes d'Ambonnay - a French Medieval World by xSorcier
Vic Valentine Private Eye
Something "fishy is going on in the Spice Market, and it's not the Fishmongers shop downstairs. The owner of the local bookshop Michele has gone missing, but fear not, our valiant Private Eye Vic Valentine is on "The Case of the Missing Michele". Time to question the unusual suspects and get to the bottom of this maleficent mystery!
This year Lea Morgana/xSorcier is doing his xChallengeMe build challenge again. Sim_Michele created a room with 10 objects that I had to use in my build without changing the color swatches. This build is how I came up with a use for all of her objects. You can see the objects I had to work with in the picture below.
As soon as I saw the magnifying glass I knew I wanted to do some sort of Noir Detective story build. Seeing as Michele gave me the objects, it only seemed fitting she play the damsel in distress in my story. (click on images for hi-res version)
In addition to the Private Detective Office, the build includes a finished apartment for Vic, A Fish Store, Nail Salon, Ice Cream Shop, and Bottling Plant. There is also some “secret” stuff for you to discover on your own.
You can find the Vic Valentine Private Eye build in my SimDoughnut gallery (userid: simdoughnut). This NoCC Residential build sits on a 30x30 lot in the Spice District of San Myshuno. I have the build listed as Residential in the gallery, but it could easily be used as a Retail or Generic lot as well, and has 6 unfurnished apartments you can decorate any way you’d like. I also created some sims for the story, so you can find Detective Vic Valentine and The Unusual Suspects in my gallery. I strongly recommend enabling the “bb.moveobjects on” cheat prior to placing this build in your game. I hope you have as much fun with this story build in your game as I did creating it.
Have Fun :)!
The Twisted Ruins
Long ago a place of sanctuary. However, history has long claimed this place. Darkness and despair fill the air, as now the place evil gathers and corrupts. Could the warnings of those pesky sages be true? CC FREE 40x30 Playtested Download Gallery: bit.ly/2qMKuP3 Original Post by xSorcier on Twitter
Maub’s Cottage
Maub is a “Cauldron Stirrer” who owns the local Potion Shop in Glimmerbrook. This is the cottage that Maub shares with her Feline Familiar Molly Boo. As you can probably tell, Maub enjoys her solitude and spends most of her time at home tending to her gardens, and experimenting with new potion recipes. No one truly knows how old Maub is, and no one has ever been brave enough to ask.
Some of you may recall last week I shared a build called “Maub’s Potions and Sundries” that I created for Sim_Micheles’s build challenge. Well this week I’ve created Maub’s Cottage for xSorcier’s “Spellcasters of Today” build challenge. Basically we had to choose one of four spellcaster types and build a home or business for them. I chose the “Cauldron Stirrer” option, and seeing as I’ve already built the potion shop, it seemed only right to build a home for Maub and her feline familiar that matched the potion shop build. (click on images for hi-res version)
You can find Maub’s Cottage in my SimDoughnut gallery (userid: simdoughnut). This NoCC residential build sits on a 30x20 lot in Glimmerbrook. If you’d like to pick up Maub herself, she’ll be available shortly on the gallery as well. I hope you have as much fun with this build as I did creating it.
Have Fun :)!
So xSorcier/LeaMorgana is doing his “Challenge Me” build challenge again this year, where someone selects 10 objects for another person to do a build or room with. While I know nothing will probably ever come of it, I created the room above for SimGuruNinja and challenged him to do a build with the 10 objects you see in this picture. After all it’s only fair the Spark’d Judge gets judged himself right?
Maybe if enough people see this, and tweet Ninja about it, we can convince him to do a build for this challenge. What do you say?
Have Fun :)!

Conservationist Starter Home
So you came to Sulani to become a Conservationist and save the environment, but you spent nearly all of your money on the air fare. Well good news for you, this little starter bungalow has everything a budding conservationist needs. It even came with a beat up old pick-up truck that runs most of the time and a slightly leaky motor boat. Have fun saving the planet!
Today I created this starter home build for @xsorcier ‘s “Starters For Starters” build challenge. You can find out more about the build challenge here. For my build I selected the Conservationist option, and chose Sulani as the world to build the home in. This is a simple open floor plan bungalow suitable for one Sim. All the requisite items to get started on the Conservationist career are included.
You can find the Conservationist Starter in my SimDoughnut gallery (user id: simdougnut). This is a NoCC residential build on a 20x20 land lot in Sulani. I hope you have as much fun with this home in your game, as I did creating it.

Little Timmy’s Treehouse of Terror
When Little Timmy found out that Dad was building a Fairy Princess Treehouse for his Sister Sally, Little Timmy got very angry. Little Timmy did some very, very bad things, and Dad and Sally were never heard from again. Mom decided to let Little Timmy finish the treehouse himself so that bad things didn't happen to her as well. This is Little Timmy's Treehouse now, and Little Timmy doesn't like unwanted visitors. You wouldn’t like Little Timmy when he’s angry.
This month @xsorcier is hosting a #xChallengeMe build challenge. Basically, someone creates a room filled with 10 objects that you have to create a room or build from, without changing the swatches. @Sim_Michele created the room for me that you see in the last picture, and this build is what I created with those objects.
It should be noted that this is an incredibly “Dark” build. Think Toy Story’s Sid (on steroids), meets Henry from the movie The Good Son, and you’ll get an idea what kind of naughty boy Little Timmy is. On Twitch I routinely tease Sim_Michele about her “murder builds”(she is an incredibly sweet Simmer), and I was kind of dared to see just how “dark” I can get with a build myself.
You can find the Treehouse of Terror in my SimDoughnut gallery (user id: simdoughnut). This NoCC Generic “Kid” build sits on a 30x30 lot in Forgotten Hollow, but any 30x30 lot will accommodate it. I hope you enjoy the build, and aren’t too disturbed by what you find within it. On a side note, Little Timmy is also available on the gallery as well.
Have Fun :)!
