Our girl AleXa is back with her new release “Xtra”! How are my fellow AI Troopers feeling today?? AleXa dropped her new MV for “Xtra” and let me tell you guys, I absolutely loved it! She managed to work this style of pop into a track, perfect for her voice, to give a little nod to the kpop acts before her and the usual music video tropes that were popular in previous generations. The dance battle set up at the end of the music video was very reminiscent of the 2000s and 2010s of kpop and it was nice to see that brought back in a fresh way. I was genuinely ecstatic to see BM himself in the video for that scene; it was definitely a cherry on top as a fan! The song definitely had the quality of an AleXa track from start to finish. It was energetic, dance-inducing, and very confident just like AleXa herself. What a way to make a comeback!
