Me: Hey, do you think Xudarians have gizzards? Do they need to swallow rocks every now and then to help with digestion? Do they have commercialized products that are of hot debate among their people? Is a rock from a garden that's free really less performative than a lab-grown piece of limestone?

Question for the room

If i was going to make a xudarian character who is a scientist, what should i know about the culture and personalities? And on the off chance, dows anyone know of specific comics to read that flesh out that world?

Things I give more thought than DC ever wanted anyone considering - what does Xudarian food culture look like? They have BEAKS, what is their diet, what does it look like, what utensils do they have, what is polite vs, impolite, can they burp, do they shred food or gulp it down, what are their tasting profiles like, WHAT IS THEIR 'BREAD'?

Ah... good ol'e fish-bird peoples. I personally can't imagine that all Xudarians look like Tomar-re, so I kinda played with beak sizes and shapes/skin color/eye color. I tried keeping the skin/fin colors within a certain color range, browns, oranges, reds, whites, which basically means that I pretty much made bird-like koi fish peoples... XD

^^ I am hoping to do more incidental sheets like this, but with different species. I'm thinking of doing some Astonian (Saint Walker) or the Reach incidental sheets next. Maybe even Korugans! ^^

XD Xudarians always look so serious/grumpy...

We never got to see Tomar-Re babies or Saint Walker childhoods. Inspired by this picture by Jas and this picture by metaraymek. ^^ They both got tons of Tomar stuffs!
