Been thinking about my SWTOR characters and the partners when they’re the Outlander.
Zavvi as older, stronger. Not just a smuggler, but a smuggler baron. Her lekku are longer with age, wrapped around her neck for safety. Corso by her side, no looking a farm boy but a man, though his brown eyes still twinkle with mischief and his voice is no different.
Feyrl as a dignified Sith lady, just like her mum, but more formidable. This woman has the Murder Walk down pat and she still has her mohawk. Pierce by her side seemingly unchanged, if not a bit more scarred and with tiny glimpses of grey in his hair.
Xuleena seems as ageless as a tree, if not a bit taller and fatter with age. That doesn’t make her any less powerful, however. Felix has aged, though, his black hair greying earlier and wrinkles appearing everywhere. Nothing has dampened his spirit, though.
Nemania’s personality hasn’t aged, even if her body has. She’s new scars all over, and their are new lines around her eyes. Doc pretends he’s the same age as he ever was, but he’s just trying hard to hide the same changes as his wife.
Zamesh has aged just like her mother Feyrl; taller, stronger, looking like she could kill you in one glare. She’s an old warrior now, scars everywhere and the stress in the lines on her face. Similar has happened with Torian, now sporting a well groomed beard.
Seendra has not fared as well as her siblings and mother; hiding in the shadows does not do the body any favours. Her red hair is now short rather than long, premature lines on her face that are deep. Vector has done better, and could easily be mistaken for his younger self. He alone seems to keep Seendra afloat.
Kalketa hasn’t changed much; he still looks as dignified as his mother, and his personality is still as sweet as ever. But time has improved his combat skills, and a battle against the mild-mannered Sith is not always a pleasant one.
Rica is battle-hardened and her fun loving edge worn down. She’s seen enough death and destruction of people she cares about to pull out all the stops and give her enemies more than a little pause.
Tara took a while to step out of her mother’s shadow, but she has eventually, making a small name for herself in smuggling, high risk jobs, and having lovers (of many genders and species) in every port. She’s shied away from choosing a side and entering the main field of combat, but that might soon change...
Kafek has been molded by war and conflict and strife, and still manages to smile and make jokes. His scars have increased, and he’s lost some horns from his head, but the Commander of Havoc Squad is ready to meet any threat face on and bring it crashing to its knees. Elara is the light of his life and he owes her for keeping his good sense of humour alive. She too is older, but no less smarter and only more confident that she is fighting for the Republic and her husband.
Rexan’s shy, quiet demeanour has meant he has not had the easiest time maturing. But thanks to his best friend Luxara and his family, Rexan has not broken. He’s still quiet and reverts to his shyness in some situations, he is now a Jedi Guardian of respectable skill, and no longer suffers crippling self-doubt. He’s just trying to get over his unrequited love for Luxara now.
Luxara’s hot bloodedness has been tempered by time, and with it her combat skills have only grown. The wisdom from her age has helped her and Rexan through some tough trials, and she feels ready to take on whatever comes her way. She feels bad to have turned down Rexan when he finally admitted his love for her, but they are still fast friends, and she knows he will cross that hurdle in time.
starrypawz replied to your post: Dang, I could do with a prompt so I stop sulking...
How about for whoever you chose something fluffy to do with decorating?
Hmmm, could do that...
"The Jedi Council doesn't have rules about what colour we paint the nursery's walls, do they?" Felix Iresso groaned. "Though we should probably avoid Imperial Black and Sith Red."
"That would be wise." Xuleena replied, watching her husband scroll listlessly through the gallery of wall paint colours. "Jedi are not supposed to raise children, so there should be no rules for this sort of thing."
"I didn't think Jedi weddings were a thing, but they certainly had rules for that too." Felix replied, a half smile pulling at his lips. "No doubt there's some rulebook about Jedi kids."
"Yes. I suppose so." The Twi'lek Jedi rested her hand on her stomach; it was far too early for her to show, but she knew there was an infant inside her. She could feel the tiny spark of its connection to the Force linked to hers, and she knew her child would almost certainly be Force Sensitive. It led to...implications, but Xuleena deemed that she would consider them closer to the time.
Not when the only thing they were currently having to worry about was decorating.
"You think we should call Corso?" Felix asked. "I mean, he and the Captain have already done this before, surely he can give us a hand."
"I think you might need to pay him, love. My sister told me that decorating their home was not as pleasant experience, and she quit the room twice in disgust."
Felix groaned.
"We're doomed, aren't we?"
The Jedi chuckled, walked over and placed a kiss on her husband's cheek.
"As much as I would love to use the Force to help us, I cannot. And the Council might not agree that I should help you with this endeavour." A smile played on her lips. "However, they did not say how exactly I wasn't supposed to help you."
"Oh? Does that mean my beautiful wife has a plan?" The lieutenant asked, grinning boyishly.
"I do." Xuleena nodded. "But first, we need to choose the colours."
"Aw kriff."
I'm not really sure about this. Um. UUUUUM. It's not really smut or a question per say. Would you write a drabble with Xuleena? I just really like her and I'd like to know about her. Maybe one of her quirks or how she came about getting her scar? *flees*
Sure, I can do a little thing for her. ^^ Have some Xuleena/Felix, before they became romantically involved.
"Lieutenant, you appear to have something on your mind."
It took a moment for the Jedi's comment to register in Felix's mind, and he blinked, sitting up straighter.
"Oh, sorry, ma'am, I, yeah." He smiled weakly, scratching the back of his neck. "Sorry, I was just thinking about some things."
Xuleena smiled faintly, but Felix could see her light green eyes were lit up with amusement.
"Were you thinking of anything interesting?" She asked, tilting her head to the side.
The soldier hesitated as he briefly contemplated lying to the Jedi, but from he'd seen by her side, the Twi'lek Sage was a very shrewd judge of character. Though she kept her emotions on a tight rein, she could read a person's face like a holocron, and that was before she used her considerable Force powers to assess a person's aura.
"I was, uh..." Felix swallowed, not sure how to word his explanation. "I was just wondering about your scar. How you got it, I mean."
"The one on my chin?" Xuleena asked, gently touching the small pale mark.
"Yeah. I mean, you've fought Sith and droids and goodness knows what else, and I can't quite think of what would leave such a small scar there." Felix said.
"Why, have you been admiring me, Lieutenant?" She said, her smile getting a tiny bit wider.
"Well, er, you're the prettiest Jedi I know, ma'am." Felix replied, feeling his face heat up rapidly. "I'm sorry if I'm to supposed to say that or anything-"
"It's fine, Felix, I appreciate your compliment." Xuleena interrupted him with a raised hand and a calm voice, settling him almost immediately. It was almost spooky. "I didn't get this scar through combat. As you've noticed it's too small." She looked away, as if she was considering something, the tip of her lekku gently moving in thought. "It was a very simple thing."
"What was it, if you don't mind." Felix asked.
"It was an accident. My childhood was not...typical to a normal Jedi's. I, unlike others, was allowed back to see my family from time to time. I have a younger sister by the name of Zavvi, she must have been about six when this happened." Xuleena explained.
"We lived on Coruscant, in the upper levels. There were not many trees in that area, as we didn't live close to the boulevards. However, I found a small branch when we were playing outside. We broke it in half and pretended to be young Jedi, sparring together." A wistful smile played on her lips, her gaze becoming faraway.
"That sounds so sweet." Felix smiled.
"It was nice." There was something about her voice that suggested there was more to the story, but Felix didn't pry. He wouldn't be able to get it out of her anyway. "But, of course, we were children, and we didn't know our own strengths." She touched her scar. "My little sister was wily even then, and she took me by surprise. She intended to just knock me down, but a sharp part of her branch slashed me across the chin. There was more blood than we were used to, so we ran home." The Twi'lek smiled ruefully. "I had not yet learnt how to heal myself."
"You were only a kid, Master Jedi." Felix spoke. "What happened next?"
"Our mother scolded us. She was more frightened than angry, I think. Our father was concerned, but he didn't panic as much as Mother. He cleaned it up and put a plaster on it, and told my sister to be careful." The Jedi paused a moment, considering, before shaking her head. "And that is all to that story."
"Okay. Thanks for sharing that with me, Master Jedi." Felix smiled.
"You're welcome, Lieutenant." Xuleena replied, a sparkle to her eyes. "I enjoy talking with you."
"Yeah, me too." The soldier replied, blushing and deciding to excuse himself before he embarrassed himself further.
* for both(?) your Xuleenas?
(SWTOR) Xuleena was originally going to be my main character; the good Jedi who thought the rules on love were not well thought out. Whilst the belief stayed intact, she became a more supporting character.
(WoW) Xuleena is too young for her characterisation to have changed.
You know the best thing about the relationship my Jedi consular Xuleena has with Felix?
It's one of the few pairings where I think it's better without the sexual element to it.
I've stopped short of headcanoning Xuleena as asexual, but I have headcanoned her as completely unbothered by sex. She knows it's a thing and probably really nice if her younger sister's tales are anything to go by, but she just doesn't...care.
And that's why I like the relationship and the romance. It's about two people finding their way together and being happy, and it's got this lovely vibe of...of...serenity about it, like it's two pieces locking together in a whole. You don't need sex in there, and in my opinon, I think it ruins it.
It might be the female JC's VA and her delivery of her lines, but that's what I think. It's a lovely romance, and I'd recommend it to anyone.
Sleeping headcanons
Because it needed doing. We've got everyone here, from my SWTOR characters and pairings to Akeelah Shepard and Kaidan Alenko (at the bottom because they've had enough attention thank you very much).
Each character's sleepwear and how they sleep together is described.
It's big one, so they're all under the cut.
Headcanon - Nightmare Lands, Voss
So I was playing Kafek earlier and running him through the Nightmare Lands on Voss to finish his storyline there, and a thought occurred to me.
You need to do a ritual to prevent yourself going crazy in the lands, right? The ritual involves stuff in the Nightmare Lands itself, so surely you're at risk of corruption whilst you're doing the ritual to stop it.
So I thought about what my characters (and their companions) would go through whilst they hunt for the ritual stuff:
