both are very drawn to each other + compliment each others' freak, darumi canonically does not take very long to get very attached to hiruko so i think it's intuitive for her, hiruko i think would take a bit longer to realise it's a romantic inclination? like darumi's halfway through a passionate infodump about an obscure 1993 eroge she managed to dredge up after finding a reference to it in portuguese from a 2002 web forum post, and hiruko realises she's become invested in how darumi explains all the weird shit she finds (in a way that she probably wouldn't be if she just found it herself), goes 'well, why do i feel that way- oh.' and given how she acts around takumi it's a 50/50 of embracing it or shoving it down and finding the line between playfully bullying darumi and not retraumatising her from the shit her parents did
🛌 Who hogs the blanket & who ends up freezing dramatically?
well we know one of two bits of furniture hiruko owns is the covers of her bed while darumi has slashes in hers iirc, so honestly i think hiruko is. maybe not a constant blanket hog but has subconsciously done it a couple times. though darumi either sleeps close enough to hiruko there's no point in taking the whole thing or darumi convinces hiruko to let her into her warmth (by putting her ice cold hands on the sides of her neck at 3am)
🌸 What nickname do they have for each other that would mortify them if others heard?
i mean darumi literally calls hiruko mistress point blank in front of the others on multiple routes and hiruko doesn't bat an eye so i don't think any nickname darumi could come up with would phase her, though i think if hiruko called darumi any affectionate nickname without realising someone else was in the room and heard her, that would be a little mortifying?
