Soo if I haven't already mentioned, Kiran's sense of balance is impressively good. To ensure this, they also plated their soles with rubber :> Sometimes they love to casually flex on others by balancing on surfaces that should not be walkable. Such as a handrail in the example above. Momo was the victim of their unintended flexing today Sorry Momo
Kiran often does stretching exercises!! This is to keep their joints from becoming stiff and rusty. And also feels good😌 (ignore the second pose/j)
Besides feeling good and flexing, their balance practices and stretching has a different purpose for their wellbeing.
This pose has been on my mind for DAYS. And I pulled it off On paper, During lecture at college and With a plaster on my thumb.
Just like Guardian and Clementine (in this AU), Kiran tends to carry around a staff whenever they leave the Safezone, but unlike the guardians, Kiran doesn't use their staff for killing the Zurks - they mainly use it as a tool to aid their escape. If a situation has them pole vaulting over a river of Zurks then SO BE IT they can be very creative with their dodges and have practiced to be as quick as possible with coming up with them based on their current surroundings. They are quite successful at it now, but it wasn't always like it. There's a reason their limbs have been replaced on several occasions...
Feet, hands, forearms.. Pretty much every part of their limbs was caught by the Zurks at some point. The pain of losing a (part of the) limb never eased, no matter how much they had it happen - and how they handle it every time is pictured above as well. Kiran is emotional, they do not like hiding how they feel (which may or may not cause trouble later on..). Losing a part of their body was always painful enough (both physically and in other ways) to make them cry. And don't EVER tell them to stop crying - unless you wanna hear all the reasons one should be allowed to cry. A good reminder tbh
Thankfully, not all of their expeditions to the Dead city ended as a Losing Limbs type of failure. Some of them were quite successful - especially that one time they managed to bring a living Zurk back!
Their excitement was not reciprocated, unfortunately. The Zurk didn't live for long... It was still impressive though
