I loved your story "The 47th Lie," because it dug so deeply into the issues Jack and Irina would've faced in that AU, plus oh, the big Nadia reveal!

“That’s what you don’t understand about my extraction, Jack. My mission didn’t fail because I became pregnant with Nadia; my mission was to get pregnant.”

^^First sentence(s). From there I was able to develop a conversation about Irina’s perspective on everything that had happened. Truth really does take time. It led really well into the tension between the characters as they worked to salvage a relationship built on dozens of lies, wrong assumptions, and difficult truths.

Top five favorite fics of all time!

Oh geez. Hmm. I don't know if I can pull out specific fics, but I'll try. Some are going to be authors because it's everything they write. In no particular order:

1) Your CJ/Danny fics, my dear, especially "The Butterfly Effect" which I read and loved before I knew that it was your handle on AO3. ;)

2) Ariel's (andallthatmishigas)  fics, especially her fix-its for the Alias S5 finale. I love fluffy happy endings. =] And she writes great Frilith and Bartlet fics too.

3) Charina's fics (I don't remember her new handle), she used to be under areyoumarriedriver, maybe she still is on AO3. She wrote this fabulous one about The Orient Express years ago, but it was totally different than the S8 episode, super awesome though. She writes River/Eleven really well.

4) Yahtzee's ( yahtzee63 ) J/I fics. Could not possibly pick one, they're all so good. There are many. Here's one set in the years Syd was missing.

5) There's a really really sweet Adama/Roslin fic (have to represent all my OTPs ;) ) but I cannot remember its name, and I'm still reading through the archives. Sorry, fail. [Edit: I remembered, it's here. More T+ really than M and only at the very end. I half-liked the finale and half-didn't, so this story wrapped things up more smoothly, it's not a fix-it, but a post-finale ficlet but it's just sweet. And I cried at the line about Kara, because I felt like that one line made up for my frustration with the way her character sort of ended in that show...I still don't know how I would headcanon it differently to make it make sense and answer things, but that line just was so lovely. And of course, this probably makes no sense to the 95% of my followers who don't really watch BSG.)There are so many other great fics that I feel bad leaving it here. But also good about this list.

Cherik fics in which Charles and Erik are gay, the story has a happy ending and charles has no relationship with moira. Friendship is fine, romance ? no and erik has no relation to magda, mystique or emma frost. I've read too many gay for you novels and one of the characters ends up being bullied by another or abused. So if you could help I'll be very grateful.

Hmm, well, there’s not actually a question here, grammatically speaking, and I don’t generally do random rec lists—there are marvelous places you can go for that, like xmenfcfanfics here on tumblr…but I’ll look at my bookmarks and see what might fit all those criteria…

Yahtzee’s Xmas in Connecticut, which is just gorgeous AU holiday fluff and healing;

ikeracity’s A Place to Fall, which is a terrific spy/bodyguard/SHIELD AU that makes me smile every time;

significantowl’s Hold Tight, It’s Just Beginning, which is a lovely post-XMFC fix-it that makes my heart happy (it’s technically a remix of a story of mine, but really it’s just a beautiful coda on its own, and I love her writing).

They have amazing physical chemistry. Probably the best on TV in a while, but he is just so terrible. His attitude towards Olivia and Mellie both is borderline abusive. I hope he ends up alone, and Olivia and Mellie run for office together and smoke 'im.
