Attention, please! Enhypen’s Ari finally graduated high school!
Enhypen’s sole girl member caught the media’s attention today as she walked to school with one member on either side of her. All cameras turned her way when she stepped into the street in front of the campus.
A few photos and videos were taken of her capturing memories and doing dance challenges with her classmates, including Kep1er’s Dayeon and IVE’s Rei.
After a change of clothes and a celebratory meal with some of her members, she went on live where she revealed that they had been cheering her on from their home by posting some congratulations photos while Heeseung and Jake had gone with her to take photos of her during the ceremony and give her flowers.
When asked about university, she mentioned she was already considering going, but still somewhat unsure of her major. However, she did say she was planning on completing her education up until at least a bachelor’s degree.
She also expressed her excitement for fellow members Jay and Sunoo’s graduation which will be held tomorrow.
We wish Ari a good luck in the next phase of her life as an idol, an adult, and possibly a university student.

The Baby Sheep Spot
Ari had a lot going on in her mind back on I-land. Jungwon would usually be the one to catch her and get her to talk.
He’d always bring her to the lobby and sit by the side of the egg gate to talk.
It’s sometimes shown on the show what they talk about, but the most iconic of their heart to hearts are always the ones caught on the I-land cams where there aren’t any audio files.
One instance in particular that went viral on eggie twt at the time was where someone caught them on the I-land cams sitting and talking. It looked like Ari had started crying, so Jungwon pulled her head to rest on his shoulder while talking. Then his hand went up and wiped at his eyes and that’s when everyone realized he was crying, too.
The Baby Sheep Spot will forever be an important part of wonri fans’ lives and everyone’s happy to know (thanks to Jake spilling it bc he found it cute) that there is also a baby sheep spot in their dorm.
(more under the cut)
Their High Praises
Everyone knows Jungwon and Ari have nothing but good things to say about each other, so high praises are a constant between them.
These two are literally not shy and will compliment each other to their faces until the other gets embarrassed.
You’ll catch Jungwon on vlives talking about how he really likes Ari’s mindset and would often go to her for advice (if not Heeseung)
Then there’s Ari who likes to “dote” on Jungwon but then goes off about how good of a leader he is and how he handles all his responsibilities well
We can’t leave out the fact that they always tell each other they did well, and they’re always telling each other they look good.
Fever First Pre-chorus
There’s not many WonRi moments post-debut, so Fever’s choreo was an absolute gem to WonRi stans
In the first pre-chorus, Jungwon has to “choke” Ari the way that Ni-ki does to Sunoo in the second pre-chorus
But there was one stage where she accidentally turned her head the other way, and, in the split second she and Jungwon met eyes, they nearly laughed
But the speed of everything made it look like they smirked at each other and fans loved it
And now they do it like that every time they perform Fever because who doesn’t love how the two Yangs always look like they’re about to jump over a metal fence and vandalize something when they do that?
The Dimple Tradition
So, it took until after their debut for people to realize that Jungwon and Ari have a dimple tradition.
Before every performance, they make the bread face to each other then simultaneously poke each other’s dimples just to help them ease their nerves.
When Sunoo first pointed this out in a behind video, people began searching back and saw Ari and Jungwon doing this tradition on I-land in the background of some clips.
Obviously everyone finds this adorable because it’s such a wholesome way to calm each other!
(Everyone also loves how Sunghoon is always trying to get in on it, but Ari and Jungwon both walk away from him whenever he tries because it’s their thing)
Jungwon’s En-Log
Everyone was surprised when Ari suddenly appeared on screen while Jungwon was in the car explaining what they were about to do.
The fact that the two of them took a quick walk by the Han River is precious to everyone, especially paired with the clips their manager took from behind them where you can see Ari laughing about something and Jungwon carrying her bag for her.
“Why are you so quiet today?” “This is your video. I’m sure Engenes want to hear from you.” “Engenes want to hear from you, too, so talk with me like you normally do.”
At some point she ended up wearing Jungwon’s polo because they both realized the shirt she was wearing was thinner than it seemed to be… Also jungwon accidentally stained her sleeve with his chicken.
Of course, there’s them under the blanket after eating. While Jungwon only closed his eyes for a few seconds, Ari really fell asleep next to him. There was a fifteen-second cut of him sitting and scrolling through his phone on one hand while the other hand was lightly patting her shoulder.
Bonus: something that the fans don’t know
Every week, Jungwon and Ari have what they call “Wonri Hour”. No one’s allowed to interrupt them, join them, or pull them away, not the managers, not even Heeseung. They sit together on either of their beds, usually in silence, other times just with music playing. This is their healing time. Sometimes they talk, sometimes they don’t. This is different from the baby sheep spot though because that happens at random and the members are free to join them there.
notes: jungwon just wanted to keep ari company like the good leader he is... but the baby sheep duo spice things up with a bet for... free food?

A dilemma had just appeared for Ari, and she wasn’t talking about her most recent comeback album.
“Ari, have you decided if you want the lowlights, the bottom half, or the whole head yet? And in blue or purple?”
“I’d prefer it if my groupmate kept her whole head on, thank you very much,” Jungwon sat in the makeup chair next to her with a teasing smile on his face.
“Very funny, Yang leadernim,” she deadpanned at him before smiling at their hair stylist, “I promise I’ll decide in thirty minutes!”
The stylist lightly patted the two Yangs on their shoulders with a smile before heading off to tend to Jake. With a sheepish smile, the elder of the two Yangs slowly turned to the leader, fully expecting the look he was giving her. He had a set hairstyle ready, and he was just waiting for her to start ahead of him so she wouldn’t be the last one to go home. Well, at least not alone.
Going home last was the punishment their manager had given her for making Sunghoon panic. (It was amazing, the fear she could cause with just some spare foil and bleach while her member fried his hair multiple times in one day.) Jungwon, being the nice leader that he was, decided to stay back and keep her company.
But it didn’t seem like she needed the punishment to be last. Deciding on what she wanted was hard, which is why she might have preferred it if the stylists just went and dyed her hair.
“Don’t look at me like that,” she scrunched her nose while hitting Jungwon with the back of her hand. “I know I want my whole head to be dyed and I can just put lighter colored extension highlights if I want more dimension in it, I just can’t decide if I want blue or purple.”
“One of those colors matches me,” Jungwon told her. “How about we make this interesting? I bet you choose the one that doesn’t match.”
She raised an eyebrow at him. “And if I do?”
“Loser pays for dinner later.”
Looking suspiciously at Jungwon, she thought about what could possibly happen. It was half and half, with only two colors to choose from, and she wouldn’t normally mind treating for dinner, but they had just finished a rigorous schedule of practice and hair dyeing with only little snacks and lunch to have filled them up in the day. That means dinner would be a lot more than usual. Knowing her members, they’d even order things twice or thrice.
The other six members all turned their attention to the two’s bet.
“How about we be more practical,” she suggested. “Dinner’s gonna be a feast, so why don’t we have three on my team and three on yours to split the bill?”
Jungwon smirked. “Already scared, huh? Fine by me. Who’s on the leader’s side? Ari and I won’t match.”
She watched as Jay, Jake, and Sunghoon all decided to agree with Jungwon. That meant Heeseung, Sunoo, and Riki were on her side. She have them a confident look.
“I got you guys, we’re gonna eat like kings,” she grinned as she ran over to the hair stylist. “Unnie! I’ve decided! Let’s do it somewhere else, though. I don’t want Jungwon’s team to see it until we’re done!”
The stylist chuckled but nodded and led Ari to another room.
Nearly three hours later, and Ari is surprised to learn that the other six members had decided to wait for her and Jungwon just to see the results of their bet. They had been sitting in the practice room, and, as the staff announced she was going to walk in, they had covered their eyes.
She jumped just a little in shock when someone put a sleep mask on her. Footsteps came and ended right next to her, so she poked the person on their side. The yelp of surprise assured her it was Jungwon.
“Alright,” their manager called, “you six can look first. Ready? Go!”
Before she knew it, the room was filled with yelling of both disappointment and victory. She felt herself being lifted up and spun around, causing the sleep mask to fall off her head. Riki had excitedly thrown her over his shoulder. Once he set her down and she gained her bearings, a flash of blue met her eyes. Blue that wasn’t on her.
“Ha!” She laughed in triumph at Jungwon’s shocked face, accompanied by the 02z. She ran to a group hug with Heeseung, Sunoo, and Riki. “We’re being treated today!”
Jungwon just stood there staring at her blue hair in surprise. He really expected her to choose purple since a lot of the things she owned were in some shade of purple. Jay patted his shoulder comfortingly.
“Well, you tried.”
“I should’ve gone with my gut and trusted Ari,” Sunghoon muttered to himself.
Jungwon pouted and looked at Sunghoon. “Just for that, hyung, you’re paying 40% while we each pay 20%.”
Where Heeseung is, Ari is there, and vice versa. It started in I-land back when they were working on Into the I-land. To sum it up, Ari got very protective over Heeseung, and the two of them grew attached to each other since then. Now, no matter what kind of help Ari needs, Heeseung’s always the first to reach her. He, in turn, has become protective over her as well and will do everything he can to keep her happy, safe, and healthy. These two want nothing but the best for each other because they know how much the other deserves it.
SeungRi is about as popular as, well, jakehoon, jaywon, and sunki. Fans enjoy this pairing a lot because of the way they were with each other on I-land and how it carried on into their debut. People are always making compilations of them being sweet to each other. Not to mention they work really well with each other as seen during their tests. Honestly, everyone lives for SeungRi because they’re extra soft, and their ship name means victory!
ICONIC MOMENT: The one moment SeungRi stans always cry about is when Ari was first sent to Ground where Heeseung couldn’t bring himself to help her pull her nameplate off the chair because he didn’t want her to leave. Needless to say this moment is paired with Ari’s return and the two had the biggest hug the moment they saw each other again.
Park Jongseong (Jay)
Jay and Ari were never particularly close at first. They mostly just coexisted for a while. It wasn’t until the preparation for I&Credible when they got closer to each other. Now it’s Jay nagging taking care of herself and Ari throwing witty little comebacks towards him just because. He has the habit of lightly pinching the bridge of her nose when she throws quips at him, and they usually laugh it off after that.
JayRi is mostly known as the “actual siblings” ship. They radiate reckless little sister and done older brother vibes, so fans just kinda live for it. One moment the two are bickering, the next you see them huddled in the corner laughing about god knows what meme or crack video it is they’re watching on their phones. Overall, JayRi isn’t really a popular ship, but people enjoy watching them bond or interact.
ICONIC MOMENT: It was right when they first decided to be closer friends, everyone in I-land was talking about ghosts. Jay was trying to silently and carefully grab something from the kitchen, but Ari appeared out of nowhere and asked him what he was doing. Jay yelled so loud that everyone came over to see if he got hurt only to find him on the ground clutching his chest. “Really, Ari, I regret agreeing to be friends with you.” “No take backs now.”
Sim Jaeyoon (Jake)
Jake is 10/10 an Ari supremacist. Anything she does, he melts into a puddle of giddy uwus. He’s always hyping her up, and she does the same to him. Jake is probably the member she listens to the most, which has literally everyone else confused because why???? Anyway, Jake and Ari are always the first to ride on each other’s jokes, and they’re always the ones to cheer each other on even when they’re losing. This is why if they’re grouped in teams of two and end up losing, it doesn’t seem like it.
To fans, YunRi looks like a hyper golden retriever with an equally hyper pup right on its tail. They aren’t really popular, but they are pretty loud when together. Honestly, everyone kind thinks they throw all reason out the window when they’re together. Cue the *YunRi losing their braincells for __ minutes* videos.
ICONIC MOMENT: During Enhypen & Hi, they were watching the ramen cook while everyone around them were busy chattering away, eating, and cooking. For some reason they agreed that the pot handles wouldn’t be that hot and were even clowning people who use oven mitts to hold them. Then Jake tried to carry the pot, which Ari followed. Needless to say, two kids were hurt then scolded.
Park Sunghoon
Ah, the Ari simp. The moment she stepped into I-land, you can hear Sunghoon go all “Wah, she actually looks like a bunny”. Anything Ari does looks endearing to him and Ari knows this aksjfhf. She could mess with his hair, take his clothes, poke him, pester him, or tease him, and he’d just let her be because he’s soft for her like that. If you ask her why, she thinks it’s because he’s having withdrawals from his little sister paying less attention to him, so she lets him dote on her.
HoonRi is an okay ship. They’re mostly lowkey and seen in the backgrounds of videos, but their time on I-land is forever imprinted on every fan’s mind. The image of him just smiling whenever she made a mistake in practice or took food from his plate is too soft to forget. Fans like seeing them together, but they don’t really actively looke for HoonRi content.
ICONIC MOMENT: It’s just a whole EN-TER key where they’re on lunch break and she accidentally knocks over his bulgogi, making it spill. Ari’s an apologizing mess, and Sunghoon’s just in giggles while telling her it’s okay. Meanwhile you can hear Sunoo in the background being all “How come you don’t scold her when she spills something???”.
Kim Sunoo
THE OGS! Ari and Sunoo were friends before I-land. They were introduced through mutual friends back in 2018, and they ended up closer to each other than they were to those mutual friends. These two are extremely comfortable with each other. They do self-care together and talk a lot. Tea is spilt between them, and somehow they always find themselves meeting eyes and thinking the same thing. Two peas in a pod, basically. The type of friends to judge everyone else together.
SunRi is popular. They have been from the beginning. People love how they’re super close but don’t necessarily stick to each other all the time. The content, though, they have their own mini vlive mukbang series done twice a month. Also, Sunoo is the only member who bites her cheeks back when she bites theirs, soooo everyone’s crying over that aksjdhf.
ICONIC MOMENT: When the I-landers were hyping up Jay and Heeseung’s rock paper scissors game, the editors really put in that clip of them looking at everyone else with a judgy face, exchanging looks, then shaking their heads and looking back to everyone. This became a meme in the whole kpop community.
Yang Jungwon
Jungwon and Ari have really high mutual respect, and they decided to see each other as equals and forego formal speech. Ari loves how Jungwon has a mature mind yet doesn’t let it get in the way of him living his youth/teenage years. Jungwon loves how Ari isn’t afraid to speak her opinion and chooses to act on what she thinks is right. They do have heart to hearts together quite frequently (they even had the “baby sheep spot” as claimed by the I-Landers), and they always find themselves at ease or learning something new every time. They’re mostly lowkey, though, and they like it that way.
WonRi is the one Ari ship that people don’t really bring up. Past I-land, people don’t see too much of WonRi content, so the ship kinda faded out of popularity after the show ended. But, rest assured, there are still those little moments of the two helping each other out or speaking highly of each other. They’re just a lot closer to each other than fans think.
ICONIC MOMENT: In Enhypen & Hi, Ari had to go to school, but she snoozed her alarm. Jungwon noticed (because he had to go to school, too), so he climbed up to her bunk to wake her up. He pulled her arms till she was sitting up, but her head lolled forward onto his shoulder. “Oppa?” “Not oppa. It’s Jungwon. You have school today.” “Oh. I’m not going.” “Yes, you are.”
Nishimura Riki (Ni-ki)
Ni-ki no doubt brings out Ari’s mischievousness, and vice versa. Back in I-land, she’d rope him into her antics to kinda help loosen him up and destress. After debut, he’d pull her into his plans and pull pranks with her. But, even with this, Ari makes sure to take care of Ni-ki. She has a little sibling herself, so she’s used to taking care of people younger than her. During the times where she does take care of him, Ni-ki just absolutely basks in it. He likes how she is a great source of warmth and comfort but isn’t overwhelming. Honestly, she reminds him of his older sister as well. They kind of fill the void for each other until they can see their family again.
RiRi as a ship is fairly well-known. Fans enjoy seeing Ni-ki just eating it all up whenever Ari does something like help him dry his hair or put food on his plate as if she’s not simultaneously being taken care of by the older members. Fans also enjoy how they’re both a lot more carefree together, especially in comparison to how they were in I-land.
ICONIC MOMENT: These two were having a peaceful conversation on I-land the first time they tried to talk to each other. Ari accidentally stubs her toe and curses in Japanese. Ni-ki is kinda in shock and just bursts into rapid fire questions in Japanese. “You speak Japanese???” “Yeah, I was born and raised in Japan.” “But... you’re Korean?” “Yeah, but I was born in Japan, Niki. Keep up”
