A couple non-profits worked together last year to provide thousands of trees to anyone in our county, up to 3 trees per yard. They had a max number of several thousand trees.

I signed us up for a magnolia, golden locust and an oak variety. They were delivered in the fall and we had to have holes dug and sign a contract for watering for 2 years.

I was starting to think my Oak didn’t make it. No leaves, and I checked and checked. The branches weren’t brittle/dry, so I held out hope.

And yesterday look what I found!!!!!!!

Ahhhh! There were little baby leaves 😍😍😍 I’m beyond excited lol
