🍉 Do you prefer to write short fics or long fics? Multichaptered works or single ones? Why?

I think it depends on my mood and plans for the fics! Though admittedly most of my ideas from all fandoms usually lean towards multichapter long fics, even though I can never finish them... 💀😭

I'm doing my best for the ones I have planned for Encanto though eheh, 233 pages of information and counting for this one AU...

...I should probably explore my other AUs more too oop—

But anyway, yeah, not sure if it's really a preference, probably a subconscious one if ever, though that doesn't mean I won't write and don't like short and single chapter fics if the ideas I get demand it

🍒 What’s your favorite character dynamic to write? (Can be romantic or platonic, specific or general!)

OOOH, i love platonic, friendship, and family relationships!! Gen and platonic fics are everything to me tbh, though these are unfortunately overshadowed by romance most of the time in fandoms and media

Honestly, I think that's why I'm thriving in Encanto, it focuses on family dynamics and relationships, which I love so much (plus the dysfunctionality and trauma for angst!! HASFIUHASf yeah 😅)

For specific dynamics, I love exploring the grandkids' a lot, especially the cool sisters' because I'm biased like that I guess AHSFUIHASf but in all seriousness, I really love attempting to write the grandkids, though the adults aren't left without any love ofc <3

I just really love all the Madrigals AHHAHA

Ngl, I haven't really posted anything for Encanto yet because I'm nervous and sorta terrified of getting their voices and characterizations wrong, along with some other stuff, but I'm working on it oof
