“You’d better keep quiet!” Jackie whispered harshly as she threw a hand over Shauna’s mouth to muffle her giggling.
“Mmmph! Ja-haha-mmmHH!” Shauna squealed into the hand, wiggling under the blankets like a worm as Jackie’s fingers scribbled up her side.
“Don’t want anybody to hear you! We’re gonna get in so much trouble if somebody comes up here! So shush!” Jackie scolded.
They remained that way, tangled up in a muffled, giggling ball of limbs in Jackie’s bed. It was a common occurrence at their sleepovers, one that Shauna didn’t mind one bit. Jackie could be feisty with her affection, and something in her loved to tickle the people she loved into giggly bliss. She’d complained to Shauna more than once that Jeff wasn’t very ticklish. Shauna found herself fulfilling yet another need for Jackie that no one else could – no one else would – do better. Shauna lost her train of thought, however, as Jackie’s fingers moved up to squeeze her ribs. She shrieked into the hand with a loud laugh, and Jackie laughed too, scolding her again.
