ok so was reading up on color ,, and . i have a few a few notes !!! ho ho
i think color is pretty cool and has a lot of stuff that could be expanded on and explored
first off , i think the souls should have much more affect on how he dresses, acts, lives, etc etc. i find it odd that color is so close to classic in terms of personality, when he now has ALL 6 of these souls with different personalities. delta is a sans that absorbed the soul of bravery, and he is MUCH different than classic in terms of outfit and personality, and that's just with ONE soul ;; also note i think they had to compromise on an outfit they were all okay with lmao
i think he would be more emotional than classic, by a lot. the souls represent different traits, and would amplify the emotions most closely associated to them or the color of the soul. he would also just !! generally act different. maybe his mood changes often. all i know is that this guy would prolly be at leats a little unstable when it comes to that
i think it's really cool that color has physical limits to his powers. the abilities he can use are powerful and pack quite the punch, but if he over exerts himself, he'll start cracking/dusting - which would perhaps be an easy point to get to
with that in mind , i think color would have some form of chronic pain. at his most passive state the ache is bearable, and not bad to deal with. but when he uses his magic, gets too angry/upset, or just moves around too much the pain gets worse. he's pretty fragile since he was a pretty weak monster before absorbing the souls, and i think his body would struggle to contain all that magic. hell, his skull burst open at two points because the power was just too much - so now he has two eternally burning open wounds. yeeewwowooichh !!!! !!!!
for example ^^^^^^^^ cracks when he gets angry !! also some expressions i drew :33
i think he would be sleepy often and take naps more frequently than classic does in order to maintain his energy. a lot of it goes towards simply existing ;; like i said, his body struggles with handling all the magic from the souls. but i think according to canon normal attacks don't work on him (correct me if im wrong) so at least there's that going for him 😭
also i think he would like to be covered as much as possible, hence the gloves and stuff. he feels more vulnerable than before, and insecure of his cracks and whatnot. i think he always has at least some cracks, they just get worse when he's angry or upset. i think his bones would be hollow too with magic instead of marrow, since it needs as much space as possible to be able to stay somewhat contained in his body
anyway i think color is quite neat . if you have any thoughts or stuff to add on my hcs or design please tell !!! im still figuring out how i wanna characterize this guy
