Apparently a controversial opinion but...

Did I want them to become human? No i didn't want that for them

Did i think the ending was the best reasonable version of events for them? Also yes

Like im sorry and loads of people seem hella upset and don't get me wrong I didn't want them to become humans at the end but really that's the best way it could have happened, they got to be together exactly how they wanted and they got the universe they wanted

No universe with angels, demons, God, or Satan would have felt good enough for them because of how fucked up the system was

Like don't get me wrong I disliked parts of the finale and it would have been so so much better if if was 6 episodes not 1 especially as it would have felt more fitting with the other two series and they could have explored a lot more around the plot and everyone's character

But as the gist of what happened? It was alright, like they got everything they wanted - to spend their lives together in a world where humanity had a chance as was allowed to just be human without being judged

I understand why people don't like it but it was a good ending for them as character. I obviously would have preferred if there was a way for them to be eternal beings together forever but they're happy in the south downs married and living the whole of their lives doing what they want
