Her fingers tapped vigorously at her phone's bright screen, tapping at various displayed buttons across the screen as she played the game. Her addiction had grown beyond control, and at this point, barely anything could stop her from playing the game.
She had progressed past many levels within the past hour due to the silence consuming her- allowing great focus. However, that streak of good luck broke when she noticed you twisting and turning, trying so hard to say something as if you were a newborn saying it's first word.
She had initially sighed when the game declared her dead, but that changed from one closer look at you. Your lips were speaking with no voice attached, a stutter without the words. It was confusing, up until you actually spoke.
"Jisoo," you had gotten across to her ears, her drunken heart immediately crumbling in love. How had she gotten so lucky to be with someone who not only loves her during the day but also when they're sleeping, away from a conscious mind?
It was pitch black, not a single spec of light shone upon you two as you slept so gracefully together.
"Jennie," you managed to mumble out, somehow waking your beloved girlfriend in the process.
Her hands immediately shot to her eyes, rubbing them in a tired state before looking down upon you.
As if on cue, you repeat yourself, saying her name yet a second time, allowing a sleepy smile to form upon her beautiful features as her heart does tiny somersaults at the soon to be distant memory.
She couldn't help but stare at your face, despite it blending in with most other things in the room due to the extreme darkness before the crack of dawn.
Her eyes could've very well been deceiving her, seeing a just about visible smile slowly rise, your cheeks also darkening in the shadowy room. These were the moments in life she cherishes. Including the unexpected ones, the ones that wake her up, she'll still love them and you with all her heart forever.
Silence filled the bedroom, the only sound being the turning of a thin sheet of paper within a book and the occasional little snore you'd let out.
The dim lamp had highlighted certain features of Rosé's face, and giving your sleeping face a softer hue of yellowish brown.
It was quiet, up until a single letter repeated itself, slipping past your resting lips.
"R-R" you had stuttered out in an airy tone, your voice threatening to give away the name in one foul swoop. Rosé had watched in anticipation, her book still held within her grasp, her acrylic nails tingling the book's spine as her glasses slide delicately down the bridge of her nose.
"Rose," you say, causing Rosé's eyebrows to knit together, a pout forming upon her face as you speak of the flower and not her nickname name.
"-Chaeyoung," you breathe out, speaking of her actual name this time, her pout turning into a soft grin, her heart throbbing in adoration. You think of her in your sleep?
She'd place her book on her bedside table, her smile staying content on her face as she turns the lamp off.
She'd slide under the bedsheets, giving you an appreciated kiss on your forehead before shiming over to your resting body completely, snuggling into you before she too falls asleep.
She was trying to sleep, but the cars driving past your bedroom window every few minutes kept disturbing her. She was so close and yet so far from falling asleep.
Every time she felt her eyelids finally feeling heavy she'd be interrupted by the disrespectful cars and motorbikes.
It was frustrating, to say the least, Lisa had grown rather irritated with it all, so much so that she just gave up trying to sleep.
She laid there, hugging your sleeping body in desperation to feel some relief, some relaxation, anything nice, but when a single word had bypassed your lips, she had a guaranteed night of no sleep.
"Lisa," you had spoken as clear as day, humming and turning to face her in your dreaming state.
She found herself leaning closer, a smile playing upon her lips.
Lisa had never felt her face heat up so much at such a small thing. It surprised her as much as it would've done you if you weren't passed out right now.
