Lol I always find it funny that when people write xReader for X Virus or do drawings, they're like "Ooooh I'm his little lab assistant!! 💖" then theres Yihvn, who's not even assistant status, they're the Lab Rat that keeps escaping much to his chagrin.

We should draw the three of them together ✨️

Yihvn/Ignis is @crepey-pastries oc and I wanted to draw her. Read more for me yapping about the artistic symbolism.

The chess board is because the Yihvn origin fic has a general chess motif and in current canon of The Blood of Ovhlem, Yihvn is referred to as the silver pawn.

The four factions are in specifically the tower placement, this means they are all equally opposed and have an equal opportunity to destroy another on the board, mutually assured destruction. It's also to show that no one faction has significant control over another.

Ignis is in the centre to show she's in the middle of the conflict, and that she doesn't have a real place with any of the actual players.

The silver blood is again reference to her moniker.

The faction symbols being the same colour as her blood is representative of the fact she isn't safe with any of them and they all have their reasons for wanting her.

The reason why I chosen the fem Yihvn is because she has a canon name, and she's a lot more distant from any of the faction.

Masc Yihvn seems to be much more aligned with the Pale King (even if it is just shit posts and memes) hence depicting Ignis seemed more appropriate for what I was going for.

The blindfold is because although she is aware of the conflicts in Ovhlem, I at least don't think she's aware of her place in it quite yet, she's aware of the players but not how they're connected.

As far as I know, Crepey has never associated Yihvn with insets or moths, this is entirely a me thing that I am adding.

However I do think it works, again the silver and it connections to the factors shows their desire for specifically her blood, they see her as nothing more than an insect, they don't care about her autonomy her person-hood, and if it weren't for her blood she wouldn't been crushed like an insect.

Anyways I am very normal about this AU and wanted to do something more artsy with it.

I mentioned this to @tired-enby-thats-obsessed but the only way ArachNyx and Toby would be an item is if it was forced/arranged.

And only then Nuhme (The Queen Origin/Leaded of the Cult) would have to 'Okay' it. Other than that, it wouldn't happen, and even then think ArachNyx would HATE if Nuhme and Toby ever spoke to each other.
