Shabbat 29.07.23
This afternoon after morning prayers and the Shabbat meal, settlers from the Yitzhar settlement descend to the Palestinian village of Burin and set fire to olive trees.

די לכיבוש! كفى الاحتلال!
If you're comfortable with it, can you talk about your ocs? Have a wonderful day/night!
Ohh it depends so much which one Yitzhar is one of the closest to my heart..
He's one of the few characters I made intentionally without a dream or anything related to it. All of the lanterns I draw in my brain at least, are his-- and thus for my mother. He's an angel of forgiveness I made in memory of her, even though I never got to meet her. He came from the last remnants of a yahrzeit candle. His hair and leg's colors kind of shift like when you see the traces of oil in a puddle when it rains. He has a hard time with his own existence, and his task of helping people forgive when he can barely do that himself, but he's trying. He watches over candles lit for the dead and shields their flames until they've ran their course. I hope you'll have a lovely week <3 <3 Thank you
יצהר [ID: an angel laying among lanterns and candles, small embers drifting off the glows of their flames. His wings are capped with black, as are the tips. His hair, neck, elbows, and up his legs are marbled. He is holding the head of a lost soul tightly to his chest, weeping.]
I’ve chosen a lovely new name for the angel I made for my mom : > Yitzhar / יצהר. It fits him well as an angel born of candlewax, with skin in some places that shifts like an oil slick.. With his creation he’s fond of and highly appreciates lanterns and candles. His struggle with forgiveness doesn’t need to define him in name, and his new name makes me happy. Wip, will post his finished drawing later <3

Telepesek sebesítettek meg egy katonát Ciszjordániában
Az éjszaka folyamán a somroni Yitzhar zsidó közösség mellett lázadás tört ki, mely során mintegy 30 telepes kövekkel dobálta az izraeli katonákat és kilyukasztotta a járművük kerekeit, közölte az Izraeli Védelmi Erők vasárnap reggel Twitteren.
A csapatok tömegoszlató eszközökkel reagáltak és a levegőbe lőttek. A telepesek kődobálása következtében egy katona könnyű sérüléseket szenvedett.

Settler attacks on Palestinians in the West Bank nearly doubled in 2018 from the previous year. Israeli authorities refuse to take responsibility for the escalation, while those forced to contend with the violence can do very little to actually protect themselves.
