Theyre sorta canis but also not. Japan doesnt have wolves, but dholes are similar in that theyre The Big Dogs (wild ones i mean) + close to the region. There's rumors that theres a dhole descendent there (dhole/dog hybrids) so Im gonna call that close enough.

Still fitting in with the whole doggy deal, but also a wild variation. Kazama is a dog thats rumored to be almost like a wolf (a closer relative than most dogs), and the only reason he's not a true wolf is that theyre not on the island. I want Kashiwagi to have a similar deal.
