just recently noticed this, but i really like how you draw kris with eyelashes!.. i don't know how intentional this detail is, but i think it adds to their design so much

it’s very intentional, and thank you! idr when/why i started doing that, i think it was because i always draw the same lashes on chara, and it gives their eyes a bit of personality. it reminds me of the “goth kid who creeps everyone out and is probably gay” archetype from some 2000s cartoons

i love eyelashes as a design element. for kris’s tired eyes it evokes “emo kid” but for chara it’s more “creepy doll”

I do also think it's funny that there's the (possibly high!) probability that Fiyero thinks Elphaba and Galinda were bffs the whole time. He only saw them together at the Ozdust, and unless told otherwise, why wouldn't he think Galinda went to dance with and defend her best friend? Why wouldn't he assume the girls that are so close the next day haven't been friends the whole time? Who would tell him until it comes up that they actually hated each other until the night he met them?? He is bumping along thinking this until someone mentions how the hat was a supposed to be a prank or that Galinda did a 180 on Elphaba after the Ozdust and he's going ??????????
