I love ykw so much especially the side quests so of course i got super attached during this quest in ykw2 literally my children this whole scene was just so cute

was originally just going to have a png of gargaros half transparent in the backround but that felt a bit too shitpost-y for the almost 4hrs I sank into rendering this 😭

ibis paint x also kept crashing which was so fun!! so the rendering isn't as good as i would've liked because i got so sick of it towards the end </3

anyway i have so many thoughts about terror time mostly "why" and "why does this keep happening" and "i hate that stupid oni" but at least it's not ykw 3's zombie minigame

in conclusion i am a huge fan of putting characters in situations and I am an even bigger fan of Katie!! really wanna figure out how to stylise her even more 🤭

No because the befriending system for Yo-Kai Watch 4 was actually so bad! Like, instead of battling and feeding Yo-Kai for a chance for them to give you your medal, which is a one-and-done thing once you do get their medal and now you're their friend, you have to battle for a chance to get kon (pieces of their soul which you just rip out of them, not very befriending if you ask me), and then you have to repeat this uncertain process an absolute minimum of approximately 4 times, and that's only if you get the exact amount and type of kon you need in every battle.

Realistically, you're probably going to spend 3 hours battling the same yo-kai over and over again, only rarely getting white or red kon, and then fusing the white kon to get enough red kon to have enough golden kon, then going back in and collecting even more white and red kon that you need now since you used it all in order to get the golden kon that you needed. And if the yo-kai you want is inside a gate that you only have one rare key for, then I guess you're out of luck! I mean, I spent a grand collective total of four hours just trying to get Tattletell during my playthrough over the course of a few days.
