High Hopes by ester_inc
Arthur at seventeen is not the same as Arthur at twenty-nine; Eames is one of the few people to have met Arthur at both ages. Some days, Arthur thinks that if he could go back in time and smack some sense into his teenage self, he would.
A story about lust, love, and the years between.

A bakery AU.In which life and love are never so simple as making a perfect croissant.
Skin crawling, Ylith had creeped through the bright, loud tavern, dodging children wearing her features as a costume and men loudly reenacting one of Thomas's feats. Being small, quick, and quiet, this was no challenge. And yet.
And yet.
They were selling imitations of the holy robes Selûne provided for Ylith's recreation. Not liquid silver, not moonlight made material, but pale gray linen. Not practical and modest, fit for fighting as well as praying, but elegant and sensual. Whoever designed it, Ylith thought, did not envision meditating on their knees.
In a tomb in the desert, she had sacrificed herself; when she returned, reformed by her goddess, she was wearing that dress. And now drunk women were dancing in it. They were young and they were beautiful and their bodies were not half-dead, and they had no idea. No idea.
Her stomach twisted, but she moved on. Past masks of her friends' faces, past carousers in dark corners, until she found her father, the man who made the first deal and couldn't uphold his side. The man who'd let her be taken. The man she went to hell to free.
And he didn't even look up.
Her mother looked better, healthier, brighter. Her voice was more animated. It was good, it was good, it was worth it, but.
She couldn't not look at him. Head bowed, scraping his quill across the ledger, occasionally checking other documents. His black and white hair was pulled back in a queue by a silver clasp. It was fine work. Delicate.
Was this one of the luxuries he had sold her to afford? Is this how he spent all of the years she was missing, not even miles away? Anyone who knew him and saw her would know she was his child. Did he ever look?
And now he was free, and, in his first act without a chain around his soul, he was party to the sale of her story, her image, her name.
Once, Sareth ordered the universe. He said her family was criminal, selfish, that he had rescued her; and so they were, and so he did. Then, Sareth was wrong in all things, and she acted against his every word.
Now, Sareth was far beyond her reach, and he was right about her family, and maybe he was right about her. Maybe nothing about her was good or special except what he gave her. Maybe she would have grown up useless and soft and self-centered.

One little abandoned Were-baby changes everything.
Fanfic Rec #121 Derek Hale/Stiles Stilinski (Teen Wolf) part 20
The Scientific Method by uraneia
Stiles’s life was so much easier before his BFF got super powers. “But, so, werewolves have super strength, right? And super speed. And better vision, and better muscle control, and healing powers, and stuff. And some of that’s probably, like, genetic, if you can be born a werewolf. Right?”
“Yeah,” Scott says. From the perplexed look on his face, he doesn’t yet know where Stiles is going with this. “So?”
“So what if you have condom-defeating supersperm?”
Stiles has a lot of research to do. He decides Derek's kitchen is the place to do it. Derek probably regrets giving him a key.
The One Where Stiles Vets Derek's Girlfriends by uraneia
Across the loft, Cora claps her hands. “Okay, new rule. Any time Derek wants a date, one of us has to vet her first.”
Scott, who’s actually upside down on Derek’s couch, in apparent celebration of their defeat of the alpha pack—which somehow ended with Kali trying to give Derek her number, and he still doesn’t know how that happened, because he’s the worst alpha ever—says, “You know who’s got really good people instincts?”

This is some fluffy silliness I wrote in reaction to "The Girl Who Knew Too Much." Anyone looking for a serious story should probably look elsewhere. However, if you want to know the kind of flaws Stiles discovers in Derek's possible dates, this is the place for you.
The One with the Napping by Captain_Loki
It is a unique and somewhat unhelpful talent, but Stiles can fall asleep anywhere.
Bittersweet and Strange, Finding You Can Change (Learning You Were Wrong) by WithMyTeeth (Ylith)
When perpetual loner and failwolf extraordinaire Derek Hale finally loses patience with his meddling family, he grabs a confused Stiles Stilinski, unsuspecting diner patron and herbal medicine student, off the street to pose as his new boyfriend. Hijinks ensue.
To Have Outlived the Night by stillane
Derek steps away from the window. “You helped me. They took that as a declaration.”
The problem with giving your characters your problems is that sometimes your DM will accidentally recreate parts of your childhood and you just have to be normal about it because it's Dungeons and Dragons.
It is so, so, so likely that we are going to kill her evil dad who kidnapped her as a baby and killed her once ("but as a religious thing so it's not even that bad when you think about it" -- Ylith probably). He said she's dead to him last time. :( And then he imprisoned her and all her friends and was like "we'll probably kill you later, bye, I never loved you."
At this point, she's met her biological dad four times. She met him in prison; she bailed him out of prison; she had a family dinner with him. After she went to hell to kill the devil who held his contract, she went to the tavern that he now co-runs with her friends' parents. He didn't look up from what he was doing.
She's 180 years old and officially up for adoption.
