Today for my yoga I tried a fitness blender video called 'yoga for weight loss and toning' and that was a bad move! it was basically just a 15 minute work out! It was push ups and squats all the way. Not what I wanted!

That moment when
You finish a challenging yoga class, and you feel uber stretched and relaxed. And then 2 minutes you feel ravenously hungry.

when you just wanna do some yoga but it’s 40 degrees outside and you live in a shed
listen I really do love yoga but I seriously have bad circulation. like, actual rocks have better circulation. catch me two seconds into downward dog and I won't be able to feel any of my limbs which is why I always look like a drunk toddler at yoga
Am I the only one who does all the power yoga exercise just to get to the corpse pose?
Yoga Snobs
This is a phenomenon that baffles and frustrates me.
So I’m on doyouyoga.com which is by far my favorite yoga website of all time, there are TONS of free 30 day meditation/yoga series on this site. The articles are generally informative, know what they’re talking about, funny, and the classes are down to earth and nothing so spiritual that you feel like you've walked into someones place of worship instead of your weekly yoga class. Altogether good stuff and I recommend it.
But the articles run on a general theme of yoga and meditation written by professional yogis, addressed to everyday folks like you or me, who (may or may not) has a job, school, kids etc. Where they say stuff like “you know you’re making progress in your practice when you always have yoga clothes in your bag and skip drinks for yoga class.” or “you know that moment where your in (insert complex inversion here) and blah blah” you know, that kind of stuff.
Whatever man, I’m so done with that attitude. I know they mean it in a nice way, I know that, but it feels more like something another pro yogi would understand. I’m not getting up at 5am and I don’t really go running and I do yoga at home because I can’t pay $18 for a yoga class, not even once a week, and I don’t have 90min, I have like... 15 at the end of the day.
