Of all the practices ,back bending is considered to be one of the most difficult. Only when an individual has practised the standing ,sitting & twisting Postures , one starts the back bending. The first-time I practiced , I had pain my spine for almost a month. But by consistent practice I was able to overcome the same. Each time I bent back in the standing position all the muscles of the entire back used to feel rejuvenated.
After practising for about 5 to 6 years, then comes the practice of one Legged back bending bending. There are at least 10 variations of doing this by using chair , bricks & rope. Practising this the hamstrings and the lower back are stressed to the max. One has to practice to fell the above words though.
My consistent practice over the years made my spine stronger, broaden the shoulders , all the ribs started to open up & the chest also expanded. My lungs capacity also increased and muscles in my hands also got stronger. Once I started to this practice I started to feel the flow of Grace , everyday after the end of the practice for no reason I started to smile, I don’t know the reason for The smile but I knew I was going ahead in the practice.
All the above experiences again must be over 7-8 yrs old. I’ll share more in the later posts.
